Your cruelty as a madman will
Not be unopposed any longer.
Sweltering swagger will be your
Undoing,
Sinking you to the bottom
Of the lake.

Ravens and rats and crows
Will feast on your heinous
Bones
Come undone and be unraveled.
Accept your punishment for crimes
Wicked and debased, born of your soul.

Inferno's twilight
Grace given and grace returned
And agony thrives

Every single tear of blood
        Cupped in Your scarred hands

Lord, our Lord,
how majestic is your name in all the earth!
You have set your glory
    in the heavens.
Through the praise of children and infants
you have established a stronghold against your enemies,
to silence the foe and the avenger.
   When I consider your heavens,
    the work of your fingers,
the moon and the stars,
which you have set in place,
what is mankind that you are mindful of them,
human beings that you care for them?
You have made them a little lower than the angels
and crowned them with glory and honor.
You made them rulers over the works of your hands;
you put everything under their feet:
    all flocks and herds,
and the animals of the wild,
    the birds in the sky,
and the fish in the sea,
all that swim the paths of the seas.
Lord, our Lord,
how majestic is your name in all the earth!
Just been unable to write lately, so I have been reading instead. :)

If the tears are what wash my heart,
Then every night spent crying
Has been worth all tears.
So one more night spent
With pillow wrapped my face,
Let these salty tears flow and I'm clean.
Inspired by my parents possible divorce, July 24...

I left my darkness wadded up in the corner,
but it didn't forget about me.
For a time I believed I was rid of it,
but just leaving it doesn't destroy it.

My darkness waited until the lighthouse grew dim
before making a timely assault against my heart.
If only I had left the lights on my vulnerability
would be nonexistent.

I once saw the world
through a ruby lens;
Remember my
Darkness.
Remember me
before I changed.
Remember...

Love is rarely ever found, (I found you)
Instead,
Love is built. (We've built so much)
Built with a solid foundation,
Built with a design in mind,
Built with strong materials,
Love is built with hard work. (Sweat and sacrifice)
with willingness to sacrifice,
to be hurt.
Upholding one another
at our worsts. (Our hearts are strong enough)

Love isn't taken, but grown, (We've grown together)
Starting as a seed.
Nurtured in the rains
and sunlight
of life.
Roots strong enough not
to be uprooted by fiends. (I'll never leave you)
Delicate and tenderly, slow and steady.
Flourishing branches (We have flourished)
upholding the weight of grown love. (We've grown together)

I crave your sweetness
Lavished on toast,
on fruits:
Nutella.
Just a little poem for a contest on Poetfreak. ;)

I feel like I'm losing everyone
                                                    thing...
Or maybe I've already
                                             lost them...
I really don't know who I am anymore.
All the faces, so unfamiliar...

I think I've lost my touch, my flair for poetry. Most of my recent writes I've not been happy with, so I'm going to take a break from it. I'll still be on here from time to time, but if you want to keep in touch more, message me and I'll give my kik info. :)

God bless!
