I want to believe in my
OWN truth
The many times I've come
Through on my own
Did what needed to be done
Without being told how

By using my own intuition
I was brought here with
To forge a place around
my Own tree of life
My surrender
My sovereign
My light

And the best thing is there are others
In my life that show up and stay
From time to time
To wake me up into this
To help me grow
Into the Meet me

First of all those
Who see that best me rise
And to compliment
Not control
Who endure through
Not who back down

Who drown inside themselves
To get to this unconditional love
Which they Know
From lives thousand
Before them

To make this time
Ours to shine in
And do more than
Just march on
But to EVOLVE
To become a
Revolution in their own

You asked if I get lonely
And admitted that you do
Living alone requires bravery
Something I've grown accustomed to

I breathe in the scent of memories
And exhale a new-found freedom
This time alone strengthens my character
God knows it's what I needed

But you asked if I get lonely
And truthfully, I do
Whether together or independent
We all feel it at times, but push through

For Love resides around the corner
Followed by Laughter and its comrade, Joy
You see, loneliness may try to isolate,
But Faith always defeats its ploy

then you started
to think
that you're a mess,
a disappointment

             but oh my dear
             you're a beautiful
             kind of mess
it's your soul that counts

I've never labeled myself a singer
My voice is rather shy,
But after we spoke
My heart belted an operatic cry

You may see something in me
That's captivated your heart,
But don't attempt to mold me
Into something you're desiring I'm not

I don't long for a sculptor
Instead, a friend I can trust
I'm complete on my own
And believe in Love unrushed

I'm unabashedly me
Proud of the stories I've lived
For I molded myself through heartache and laughter
And the love I continually give

I won't judge your honesty
I'm magnetized by authenticity
Our pasts shape our present
Autobiographies lacking simplicity

So, tell me your story
I'll stay awake with the stars
Share what has shaped your heart
Individual pasts may form a shared future that's ours

Let me remind you,
a nomad's observing--
You question your path,
as it becomes increasingly swerving
The pack's grown heavy,
but you must advance
For when you lease expect it,
your actions influence those
who have reached an impasse

The red moon
Red as the blood that fills our hearts
Red as the passion that give us fire
As the seduction that leave us flying

It is in bloom
As the good feelings that we transpire
As all the passion that inspires us
As all the loveliness we admire

As a typhoon
Like the pleasure that makes we go wild
Like that moon of love up in the sky
Like all the bloom of all our desire
Like that typhoon of love intensified
Another wonder in that wonderful sky.

What is love?

It's catching your glance
With everyone's eyes on us,
But no one else speaks the language
Our souls silently discuss

Dear person
That stinging feeling in your chest
That overwhelming fear of death
That demon in your head
Let's put it all to rest

If you ask me
I can tell you stories with no end
And just before "hate" was about to bend
They tell you heart is not to mend
Seal your lips —let's pretend

You and me, us
We're the tribe here to suffer
It gets lonely, but you're tougher
Speak the truth, why you muffle?
"Always happy" is for the bluffer

Hear me out here today
When you lose and there's nothing to say
Raise you head, life's a play
You need to fight for it to pay
Be prepared —because it may..

You're the ashes but in a golden tray
Feel the difference, feel it here
You're not deep
Oh but –you're oceans away

Far from reach because you fly
Your conscience will remain
Out of dozens, because you were sane
Always picked on, felt the pain
Stand high, don't be tamed
Enjoy the storm —let it rain
