I once thought I loved you more than life itself,
as if your very presence denounced all things once beautiful

until I realized that wasn't love
that to love someone is to love everything,
for when you love
it fills your soul until there is no room left for hate
so that each and every insignificant brushstroke of nature
is a masterpiece in and of itself simply for existing

but the world did not rise to your challenge,
your light simply faded from my eyes
until I could see the stars again.

There's something in her eyes that i can't resist
A touch that chills me to the wrist
A smile that brightens even the darkest mist
And the way she move proves that she's kinda beast.

All i ever wanted, is for me to be loved
A love that is true and not infatuation
I don't want to be stuck again in a situation
Wherein i think i am overly attach to this wrong person.

It tastes like you,
From start to finish.
As I flick the lighter,
And the flame warms my face,
I can feel your light blinding me again.
That first inhale,
It’s something divine,
Like when you open the door for me,
Wearing leggings and a cropped long sleeve.
As I inhale, the flames burn my throat
Like saying goodnight after one of our long talks.
Holding it in my lungs, I’m transported.
On your porch, leaning against each other,
In your car, singing a Disney song
In your kitchen, crying about a hypothetical.
As I exhale, I can feel it
The words coming out of my mouth
Like a waterfall I can’t control
“I like you so much,
You’re so beautiful”
So I continue to smoke them,
One puff at a time,
And remember our moments,
Trying to keep them all mine.
The last hit always burns my lips a little,
Warm and sweet,
Like your lips were on mine.
It’s killing me slowly,
But then, so were you.

I hear it from the distance you forced between us
The crack of your dignity
Followed by silence
And the feeling of sinking regret
You force the words “I love you” out like bile
And when I leave them there
To be washed away by tomorrow's rain
You push my face into them like a dog you’re trying to train
You can not coerce my love out of me
Unrequited affection isn’t a hurdle
Or a suggestive yellow light to just blow through
Because you’re going too fast to stop yourself
Obsession is not something to romanticize
I am not moved by the extreme acts
Your perilous behavior is making it strenuous
To trust your negotiation of friendship
When I recoil away from your touch
And cower from your drunken pleas for adoration
I am petrified by the incitement you receive
As if my feelings are meaningless compared to your needs
I have tried to get the point across
But you shy away from the truth
You’re infatuation with the idea of me
Leaves you with the misconception that this can be real

Those lines on your open palms fit perfectly
Into mine, That’s where they’re meant to be
You’re like no other, you’re what I’ve been missing
Chills engulf me as I think of us kissing

Darling, be my song, electrify my soul
Make me feel alive before we get old
Put up with my issues, but don’t watch me cry
Because soon, these feelings are about to die

You should’ve known, my heart’s volatile
Soon your number won’t be the one I dial
There’s things I want to say but I’ll just let you live
I hope you can forget what I did

You say you’d wait for me to stay
You say you’d wait until one day
That my heart can maybe be faithful
Baby, I’m sorry, but of that, I’m doubtful

I’m the one that’ll watch you cry
I’m the one that’ll darken your blue sky
I won’t say that I’m not filled with remorse
I’ve hurt what used to by my prince on his white horse

When you leave I’ll realize what I’ve lost
Hope that one day,our paths will once more cross
But by then you’ll realize that I’m not worth it
You’ll know you were wrong for thinking I was the perfect fit

You held me without hurting me, the first who ever did
I’m sorry that in turn I gave you my damaged heart, rancid.
There’s things I want to say but I’ll just let you live
I hope you can forget what I did

how does it feel to be loved by the gods?
that in every movement
the swirls of your hair around your face
the flutter of your eyes
and the shake of your shoulders when you laugh
sends shivers down even the gods' spines?
yet you don't know it
the longing stares that they send you from above
how the vines of the earth seem to crawl towards your feet
to graze against your skin
and kiss against your knees
you don't even know it
how your smile is ever so radiant
that even the sun has to shield his eyes
how every step you take
sends the earth rippling beneath my feet
or how every word that escapes your lips
makes the sky tremble
as the gods swoon
and yes
when i look at you
and when i touch you
and when i laugh with you
and spend my days and nights with you
i might as well call myself a god.

Silly love, nuanced as you please
There ain’t nothing I could ever do
I may look like I swallowed the ring of keys
But flying our stolen starship is all up to you

Drive my confused brain cells into extinction
Set the blush on my cheeks straight to full ignition
Don’t let the curious violets catch you softly shrinking
Nevermind my lopsided grin, love, tell me what you’re thinking

Silly love, ornate as you can be
There ain’t nothing I wouldn’t ever do
I may read like flimsy paper-thin allegories
But finding me out is far from something new

Twist up my elastic veins to cat’s cradle elation
I know I’m not rare, but I’d still be your florid fiction
And when the shy mimosas catch us slowly unfolding
We’ll shake ourselves silly as we flee, love, tell me if you’re falling.
Inspired by the song All Over Again by Big Time Rush.

A season of choice
Memories invoiced
To be gone in a few...
More or less than two...
Twice the entendre
Twice the look with you
