Pulling force
nagging
we revolve, attractive
drawing us
together
so many rules
try to define me
simply because
I know how
to keep my feet
on the ground

stood before my misty
bedroom window pane
I saw hazy scenes of future
and my gray reflected face

blotches, smudges, patches
feelings, emotions, thoughts
on that bedewed window
of a million human hearts

my bare palm feels the glass
cold indelible marks.
forms a million faces
in that frosty glass

Gazing deeply at me
from beyond the glass
the hungry and the bleeding
from a thousand miles.

My heart begins to wonder
what scenes are yet to come
beyond that misty window
as the days come and go by

Will warm rays of sunshine
ensure the mist goes dry,
or raindrops bathe the pane
and wash away it stain.

but those searching gazes,
of a million stained faces,
of bleeding feet and wishes
forever is etched in that pane
this poem is based on my thoughts on the migrant labourers walking hundreds of miles to reach their homes after the sudden lockdown in India

******* me
******* me
Why can’t I ever see
What I should probably be
I may never know
Any better than this
Because God ****** me
Oh yes he did

******* me
******* me
******* my hands
******* my feet
******* my thoughts
******* my breath
******* my life
******* me to death
Unknown date and time.

When I find myself in dire straits,
which is quite frequently,
my guts will get me through.
My feet tend to want to run.
If my guts and courage are on board,
my feet will follow, but left to
their own devices, in any given
situation that is troublesome,
if my feet could talk, they would say,
"**** this, run! "
But usually my guts win out.
I forge into the various battles that
need fought.
Win or lose, when my guts and
feet are in one accord,
it's a glorious day.

just checking in as
madness and earth are shaking,
while the sun rises in Thunder Bay, and
the trucks at the Moscow subway take speed, all
I need is a piece of earth under my feet.
How Much?

Better to stand on my own two clay feet,
than bolster someone else’s crumbling tarsals and fallen arches.

‘I didn’t want to deserve better as long as I had you.’

In this moment when I find
The time to picture you
In lace and white chiffon,

I can almost see as clearly
As the day we said our vows,
When no cloud would dare to cast upon.

Ours seemed to be the only shadows,
And the powder blue sky was gleaming
Like an oracle in your eyes.

To all the universe we proclaimed
Forever, not another name nor hand
Would be yours or mine.

You were called to Eden,
or to Heaven or to where all angels go.
I remained here alone, and grieving,
But as it will, on; my life would go.

I somehow know you approve,
I feel it, how you understand.
How she makes me feel, it's not the same,
But pure in another way.

I never could replace you,
And you know I'll love you always,
But it's time for your memory
To give my hand away.

No the yellow sun is shining,
And the guests are nearly pining
For event, a nuptual recital - she and me.

Faithful I shall be to her,
As faithful as you always were,
And honest as a good husband should be.

Perhaps she will not betray my love, and Leave my side to take the hand of shadow, as did you

Beyond the sparse hedgerow of near tomorrow, I cannot tell what is to come.

******* it, anyway...
And bless this union in the sight of these,
Thy congregation.
I have no idea who the hell I was when I wrote this one.
