We spend our whole lives chasing a moment
That pursuit of happiness just beyond our reach
We never find it
That willful character is fleeting.
Flitting further from our grasp.
If only we would stop and listen
To the beating of feet on trembling ground
We would come to notice happiness can never be found
But experienced.

Am i pellucid
Can any being see me
Like doors standing wide open can you see right through me
Are you all looking past me or at me

What did I do to you
To deserve this
The treatment the wind gets
It's never really a being a living thing
You feel it it caresses your face
But it's never acknowledged as simply being
For this treatment
Did I **** you or did I ****** your ardor
Well you have kilt mine
This isn't organized but are thoughts ever organized?

Life could have been easy
If you would have said
You need me...

Life could have been fun
If you would have said
Other than me you need none...

Life could have been better
If you would have said
Let's make for us a shelter...

Life could have been lively
If you would have said
I'm with you my baby...

Life is now an enigma
Without you being here
Whether to live or die is dilemma...
You are a puzzle
A conundrum
An unsolvable enigma
I cannot figure you out
Cannot understand you
And I love that
My lovely enigma
About an old, unrequited, love of mine

Something about her
makes you curious.

Her beauty
turns many heads
as she glides across a room.
Her laugh,
a mellifluous sound,
envelopes you like mist
on a winter morning.
She has pearly, neat handwriting
that leans in a different direction
every other day.

She is also kind.
An incorrigible affinity to broken wings,
she likes to fix people
and their problems (on occasion).
Is her heart full of compassion?
Or is she trying to escape
her own life by finding the solution
to any problem
other than her own?

Poetry form: Free verse
Two equal parts of a fully functional machine
mirrored and moving, a passionate computer
side "A" is off-putting, rude, self-centered
while side "B" puts on friendly smiles centered on
the world. Much would be gained from two strong
counterparts working together,
however, only one side can be seen at a time
how do you solve an enigma such as that?
