Today gravity gave way
The lost finally flew home
You led them on parade
From your grave to your throne

The bolted gates gave way
On both the sides of death
And she was dismayed
As she took her final breath

Oh... The day between dark and life
Oh... The day between death and light
Where the world thought all was lost,
and you left death double crossed

Oh... we took a sabbath's rest
Oh... while you overcame the test
Our works for heaven done,
the lamb of God has overcome.

They thought the light went out
It was just shining underground
You'll clear all of their doubts
When tomorrow comes around

The day before today
They ran from where you died
Soon they'll be running to the grave
To take their places at your side

Oh... The day between dark and life
Oh... The day between death and light
Where the world thought all was lost,
and you left death double crossed

Oh... we took a sabbath's rest
Oh... while you overcame the test
Our works for heaven done,
the lamb of God has overcome.

We are the second man
On the second day
Every second we're here
Till he comes again
Is all for his glory

Oh... The day between dark and life
Oh... The day between death and light
Where the world thought all was lost,
and you left death double crossed

Oh... we took a sabbath's rest
Oh... while you overcame the test
Our works for heaven done,
the lamb of God has overcome.

Imagine you've been tortured,
ridiculed, hated by the masses.
As you bleed to death on top of a hill,
another tortured soul asks you
for forgiveness for his sins.
The man did nothing to you,
but he feels the need to confess.
Writhing in pain, you want to die,
if only to end your own torment.
But instead, you listen to the man,
and you grant him your truest love, forgiveness.
You tell him he will soon be in paradise
with you, and you ******* mean it.
That's why some of us have faith
and we fight for the poor,
the marginalized, the despised.
They can **** us, as they so often do,
but they will never win.

They stood helpless as He was Crowned with thorns, then anchored with wood in form of a cross.  He carried that cross to the scene of his death, where they drove spiked nails through his flesh.
Hung from the cross tortured and beat , His death Fell upon him, They  wrapped his body in a white  sheet and laid it inside the tomb. As they left they sealed the tomb with a boulder surely to heavy to move. Our Father gave his life that day for the sake of our sins .
As Mary went to the tomb that day, she bear witness of an angel perched on the rock, as the rock no longer blocked the entrance to the tomb where Jesus was laid, she entered the tomb and much to her surprise, Jesus Christs  body was no longer there as the angel spoke to Mary "He's Alive" He Rose from the dead that day to forgive us of our sins. As we live this life He gave to us I praise Him for His Grace For Just as He died for us He Rose from the Dead just the same. He is Alive Thank you sweet Jesus
He is the almighty God. And He is alive

At the cross her station keeping,
Stood the mournful Mother weeping,
Close to Jesus to the last.
Through her heart, His sorrow sharing,
All His bitter anguish bearing,
Now at length the sword had pass'd.

Oh, how sad and sore distress'd
Was that Mother highly blest
Of the sole-begotten One!
Christ above in torment hangs;
She beneath beholds the pangs
Of her dying glorious Son.

Is there one who would not weep,
Whelm'd in miseries so deep
Christ's dear Mother to behold?
Can the human heart refrain
From partaking in her pain,
In that Mother's pain untold?

Bruis'd, derided, curs'd, defil'd,
She beheld her tender child
All with ****** scourges rent.
For the sins of His own nation,
Saw Him hang in desolation,
Till His spirit forth He sent.

O thou Mother! fount of love!
Touch my spirit from above;
Make my heart with thine accord.
Make me feel as thou hast felt;
Make my soul to glow and melt
With the love of Christ our Lord.

Holy Mother! pierce me through;
In my heart each wound renew
Of my Saviour crucified.
Let me share with thee His pain,
Who for all my sins was slain,
Who for me in torments died.

Let me mingle tears with thee,
Mourning Him who mourn'd for me,
All the days that I may live.
By the cross with thee to stay,
There with thee to weep and pray,
Is all I ask of thee to give.

****** of all virgins best,
Listen to my fond request
Let me share thy grief divine.
Let me, to my latest breath,
In my body bear the death
Of that dying Son of thine.

Wounded with His every wound,
Steep my soul till it hath swoon'd
In His very blood away.
Be to me, O ******, nigh,
Lest in flames I burn and die,
In His awful Judgment day.

Christ, when Thou shalt call me hence,
Be Thy Mother my defence,
Be Thy cross my victory.
While my body here decays,
May my soul Thy goodness praise,
Safe in Paradise with Thee.
I sang this hymn - no longer used - in when aged 6 to 12 in Holy Week when a choir boy in an orphanage run by nuns. Its origins are imprecise.

HOW wisely Nature did decree,
With the same eyes to weep and see ;

Till eyes and tears be the same things ;
And each the other's difference bears,
These weeping eyes, those seeing tears.

You’re silent and still.
Chocolate bunny eyes
The only thing in motion.
Will they start with the ears?
Or go straight for the heart?
