my cookie is so delicious
chocolate chip crumbs
so full of love are
feeding my sweet-tooth
with each Hershey kiss
Nothing Much Apr 2015
The creature is limp in my hands.
As I raise it to my mouth
And sink my teeth into its skull,
I can feel it go to pieces

I unhinge my jaw
And devour its mangled body,
Savoring every ravenous bite of this rabbit
That I got in my Easter basket
;)

Every Easter
I get the flu;
All my systems
Are shutting down;
Everything exits
Chocolate brown.

a walking climb through
static lines
for location scouts
seeking Dignity that eludes
building blocks writing stutter with
shaky hands
impatient with unfamiliar terrain
and don’t mind screaming
out complaints
in (sub)conscious
assured the natural morphine
that kicks in during physical is also true in psychologicals
excruciatingly painful aware &
will cover the tracks left behind,
as diagnosis exhausts itself
because it hasnt met you, &
will not get
there.
all ologies in the world
are gonna fail
you.my
inkstained eyes
seeing ill plains and sowing light.

Chocolate on chocolate,
the faintest tang of
apricot jam with a side
of whipped cream. Oh, yes!
Decadent, scrumptious
sachertorte.
Sigh!

Chocolate in,
Chocolate out;
Eating chocolate
Makes me doubt
The lease I have
With Hershey.
But I'm not
In a hurry,
I'll sit here
And not worry.
I'll give a wipe
Then scurry
For another bar.
But my gut's  feeling's
I won't get far.
Happy Easter
Meg B Mar 2015
I held the last piece of
Dark chocolate in my hand,
Preparing myself mentally for my
Last chance at delectable,
And as I popped the
Morsel in my mouth,
Its melty coating dissolving into
My tongue,
I heard the bag crinkle,
And I looked down to find
A sugar-coated surprise,
One bite remaining when I
Had thought that that hope had
Melted away,
And boy did it taste
Sweet.
Francie Lynch Mar 2015
There came a rabbit
To inhabit
A space
In my Easter basket.
He wasn't Peter,
Or Velveteen,
But chocolate
And much sweeter.

He wasn't always
Chocolatey,
But furry,
Like the others.
But he was determined
In his drive,
To make my Easter
That much sweeter.

So he wished
Upon a star
To morph into
A rabbit bar
Of nugets,
Caramel and nuts;
And then for added
Greater taste;
He asked for drenching
In choc'late.

Kiss life into me,
I feel suffocated,
You're caramello,
Sweet midnight kiss.
Breathe your youth,
I'll inhale with you,
And feel as young.

Your chocolatey eyes,
They tell me a story,
Just relax in this love,
We share this warmth.
As I drink to your care,
You should drink to mine,
Don't be reluctant to love.

you're dangerous
but i like it
loving you
touching you
soaking you in
it's like licking chocolate
off of a knife

you draw blood
and then you dance in it
leaving red footprints
**all over my skin
this is a dark one.
