to those who not born an aristocrat,
what it means to be a human-being?
a terrible exhaustion - result of attrition
soulless slave - six days a week
is there any other alternative, though
I cannot outstare the bill faces
rent will due soon
endless presentations
pointless meetings
118,000 unread emails
week long business trips
"bare minimum to get by" prohibited
I have lunch delivered
snacks delivered
dinner delivered
I have all the food inside my office
and a beautiful apartment facing the sea
with the sun rays peeking in through the blinds each morning
but I'm just too busy
hopelessly hoarding pennies
hopefully saving enough joy for the future
they say your hardwork will come into frution
repeating cycles of entire career till retirement?

Dark is to light, as black to white.
When we write, from what place?

I wrote,
dwelling there,
amongst the shadows,
without face; leeching for love,
my cup empty,
heart scattered into pieces.

I write,
divinely guided;
exploring unclimbed mountains,
where weakness and courage elope,
advancing towards freedom,
My cup fills,
healing below the glimmers of hope.

I accept,
my world of black,
as it mends into white,
for I know, what is in the dark,
is to rise to meet light.

Why does this darkness exist? The power to bring death and destruction

So quickly it came to rest at his fingertips–am I still human?

It appeared as a vortex of shadows–he thought it a hallucination

It was insane and all too real, he could not resist stepping into the swirling dark

He thought it meant the end, but he was wrong

The unending black, still, and quiet

He found security

What does it mean when the “inner you” is silent?

Black tower, his home, wherever it stands, a spiral stair, sharp spines, sheer design

Black throne, occupied

Black blade, the edge of balance, cutting through eternity

What is in between black and white?

This is the effect of light, across space and time

Sitting at the center of his world, thinking, brooding, asking questions you are afraid to answer

What do you see when you look into your own eyes?

Testing those who call for it, testing you

Making people prove themselves–do you really know what life and love are?

Digging deep, bearing water from the well of notions

What things do you do or say because of your fears?

I will not leave until I crack every porcelain mask
I am back, if only for a moment. ;~)

We cannot understand everything.
A harsh lesson from life.
Be steady, see the pendulum swing
In times of despair and strife.

Yet, I chose to know myself.
The dark caverns in my mind,
Those I had put on a shelf
That left me maligned.

I find myself on an edge,
I have been here before,
And when I fell I made a pledge.
That instead I would soar.

I look into the abyss,
It greets me as before,
With a smile and a kiss.
Features I grew to abhor.

What it does not know;
I am no longer afraid.
Innocence had to go
Just as the mist must fade.

I look into the night,
With a deep breath, I soar
Then the dark turns to light.
I am afraid no more.
I have been on the edge many times. More than I would like I nearly fell into the abyss. Yet as I find myself back here I realise that growth happens during uncomfortable times. I'm ready for the next challenge.

Today I wake up to feel
Today was two days ago
And two is still two days
Too more.

Two days feels like a blink of an eye ,
But when each eye blinks
Just once a while,
Two days feel here almost
Within reach of this slumber
This deep hunger
Grumbles for an end almost.

But time is relative
It isn’t anybody’s relative
It comes at your good day
And changes it to your worst day
Until all days feel like
A beautiful dance of different
Shades of gray.

Haze. There will always
Be this daze.
Some days it will just be dew
On your face ,
Rest days it’ll be the warm hues
That bake your face.

A little here, a little there,
These two days will show
All its grays
Until they’re out of grays.

That day, the third day
Will be the day of love and light
That is lit up into the night.
Unnatural colours so vast
And anew; so beautiful
Pretty, marvellous and cute.

Life is colourful in the way
It is supposed to be;
With ranges of feelings, believings,
Noise and calm.
No more shall we struggle and strife,
To find our balance in plight,
Third day we shall stand tall in our
Goddess given right.

Don't some things feel like home ?
Random people and the auras they radiate.
Or just some forgotten memory which resurfaces .

Don't some people leave a mark ?
Like a friend of long ago ,
Or a neighbor just next door.

Aren't some people just like seeds?
Who grow in your mind's garden,
The seeds may not be all good ,
But they give some food for thought.

Aren't some people just so cheery?
That they make you feel good
About whatever you do.

Well but then balance in nature exists?
And to balance all the good
there's some bad.
Just some people who feel like storms,
Ruining everything en route.

Aren't there some people,
Who push you down ,
Whose negativity makes you frown.

But everyone needs a someone
to balance their bad,
Someone who will accept and help them change.
Because beauty lies within all of them ,
Just not yet explored.

Everyone has a story
We don't know of .
And neither do we need to know ,
Some people still need to grow .
And if we are so good
Why are we trying to push them down?
Why don't we help them rise ?
Why can't we all go to paradise?
We don't have to leave anyone behind.

A lost lamb hides in its eye
waiting on the shepherd  to look through  it
blindness be not friend to sight
sight be friend to blindness
Don’t Defund the police and don’t say all capitalism has got to go
Lets be honest, your research is little and there’s lots you don’t know

Capitalism, ain’t here, its Neo-Liberalism’s the name of your fear
BUT THE BOTTOM LINE IS, THE SYSTEM IS YOUR PEER.

Okay so the voting system is kind of whack
But where’s your money gone to and who do you back?

Whenever there’s a bandwagon you might jump on board
When you hear “Anti-Racist”, you applaud
But on Black Friday you open doors,
You leap right into the Capital Maws

Here’s the truth, here’s the fact
You little post, it won’t do jack
When every other step you take is on the beaten track
Being, its more than a Scene, and that’s there’s crack

WAIT THOUGH! DON’T JUST RUN!
HAVE YOU NEVER HEARD OF DAEDALUS AND HIS SON?

Jheeze, one Act an Actor makes not
If you’re a quintessential ‘Alternative’, you’re still a robot
You’ve an arrogance of rightness, that’s what you’ve got
The saddest thing is, so does your Despot

So maybe there’s a chance your desktop’s got more than social functions
Maybe humility with clarity would yield a better unction
Than screaming for the death of those with a truncheon

Yes they do bad, but they also do good,
Many aren’t here, when for their children, they should
They’re at work and in stress, or the in grace of Grim’s hood
When the **** hits the fan they run towards it, I ask if you would?

The point is to remember the good, and from this then grow
Not to dismember what’s built, and from bliss go below
To be clear, there are clearly systematic problems with policing systems that need to be worked on. Better community integration, use of social-contact theory, aggression displacement, expiating arbitrary stress as well as facilitating proper mental & physical health, robust education that teaches critical thinking and empathy, energy and resource infrastructure that's fairly distributed as well as enabling people to engage in labour they find meaningful.
Once all this is sorted, police will become largely redundant.
Until this is all sorted, millions of human animals are living in close quarters that are all getting riled up because of normal problems and covid problems. Maybe taking away a check on their primordial impulses isn't a great idea because under all that humanity you're still an animal.

Walk along this narrow path
And you might come to a surprise
For if you're lucky enough
You might find the meadows song

A meadow so peaceful
It's sure to be divine
Radiant beauty
None can deny

Across the wandering meadow
Sings a blue bird in joy
His life is filled with blissfulness
As he flies across the bright blue sky

Down on the ground
The rabbit plays
Seeking treats
That's buried below

The fox does hunt
But does not harm
For he is friends
With the meadows life

The trees sway softly
In the summer breeze
Dancing to this meadow's song
Giving shelter to the wild life

Grass grows high
The flowers wide
Full of colour
Like an artist's eye

Peace does bloom
In this meadow of dreams
Listen closely and you might hear
The meadows silent song
