I saw a balloon circling overhead when I awoke
Where am I?
What is this?
Where are my hands?
I gasped in a breath, deep flow
That mixed into my belly
And melted to my soul
Tight and tense
It battled with the shadows
In my heart that had settled
Till I doubled over in agony
with a deep, steam scream
Out like a kettle
And I felt for once
In such a while
The pain begin to *****
Down my spine,
Up my neck
And into my fingertips

my eyes
are tired of being awake
tired of seeing
of knowing

if i close them
i don't know if they'll awaken again
this poem used to always play in my head on bad days, i havent had one in a while and decided to publish it as a funeral to the bad days

In the night,
Churned metal and motors
Give way to the corn -
Flies hum in the gloam,
- Their glowing bodies float high.
Thoughts swim through dark pools.
Eyes, wide at the unseen.
My fight, doused in doxepine,
Rides waves to dancing shores.
Fight or flight

Dreaming
Awoke to a different reality
Strange feelings
flowing on my body
Strange sensations
got me shivering
Do , I stand up
no I will just sit here
maybe , I will awake
might still be asleep
Hope , I am just dreaming
This would be a
a messed up reality
Dripping walls
Colors twisted
Sensations crawling &
tapping
So , I am just gonna sit here
till , I awake back to
reality

You wash your heart with evening rain
as waves of drowsiness hold out
paper boats made of written dreams
that search endlessly for a lighthouse
to guide them home to you

Within a moment I understand the universe— and then it is gone.

my eyes were closed
but I could see your face
so clearly

my arms were still
but I could feel your hug
so deeply

it wasn't even real
but I could feel my heart
racing

up to the very moment
I awoke

You hold me like you think i will leave
Like the constant contact we keep
Is the anchor holding you to me

The rocks can not stop
The waves from meeting the shore
And distance can not keep
My heart from beating for yours
