Does not need to be present for this moment to exist
We will not write soliloquies begging for guidance
We can dance in the dark
Let us embrace our presence
We are not mistakes or flat line hospital halls
Empty promises don't share our address

We are light
Falling forever upward
Into everything we were meant for

So step into this infinity
Crack open our sternums
Display our brilliant capacity
Radiating life
Between broken bird cages and forgiveness

Let us love as the sun
Endlessly expelling energy in every direction
Without expectation of return

Not even
the devil himself
can outrun
his own demons.

The way you kiss me
Reveals to me the kind
of person you are
Don't just jab it in
Be soft and slow and sweet
Use a little less tongue at first
Tease me then bring on the heat
Let me set the pace
Then you follow my lead
Slow it down this is not a race
Taste me ~ Savor me
Marinade me in your mind
Think of me until we meet next time
We can keep it going trying
as many times as we can
if it's not right change it up
And just start again :)
the hand on the clock
moves with my heart
meticulous and non-stop
running in circles
but the workings of my mind
cannot be measured
by a single moment in time
neither the end nor the start
but i've made my mind up
i've found my role
the hand on the clock
moves with my heart
but not with my soul
i'd like to think that i live life to the beat of my own drum. today's free write.

There are fears
I can't stand for
when there are reasons
to get out from under them

We cast stones
and hide the hand
for there are chances
To find we're doing too well

Lying to ourselves
wanting it all here and now
complaining about frustration
but so afraid of existencially change

Scared of the truth
we don't want to know,
carrying our heavy brains along
that feel so full and despoiled the same

So high and dry
once roots pull us deeper
we're too fooled and stuck
But eyes start whining shouting out loud

We pretend to care
of our mistreated spirit
but it's left alone fixing us
spilling visions of good things

bigger and closer than they really were
somehow kept in mind by heart
because being made of love
we're meant to see and feel
and be who we really are.
We do things in life that make us who we are, that's why we change, but please keep in touch with your true self which grows up with you, getting older and wiser as you do. Be true, search for the truth, give truth, don't act like you think others want you to be, don't do things they want you to do just to be accepted... don't make anybody fool... it's not good for them and for you first of all.
I was so craving for writing a new piece that maybe it is not really good... But inspiration and intentions are authentic.

Some poets are way better than the majority,
Yet they are down-to-earth and connected,
Less they care about others' opinions,
Kindness is replete in them,
Injuring no hearts in
E**ra of love.

Sharp words shouldn't be spoken
Nobody's perfect
When everything comes out broken
Choking on every syllable
Soaking up every last "I'm sorry"
like a sponge that's full already
Steady, aim, fire another round across his bow
Give her another volley of misunderstanding champ,
because your fowling out over fences topped with razor wire

Sometimes a simple smile seems better
Than a string of wrong words that leave your mouth bitter
Sometimes still tongues touch more hearts
and wagging ones turn burnt ears into quitters
Sometimes stepping out's better

Why stick around and frown?
Why let it all bring you down?
Needle and thread your squack box
Turn keys on locks
And give it up, will ya?!
Try it again tomorrow
There'd be a whole lot less sorrow....
