I know girls who go through boys like they did toys on the playground
I know girls who pick at their skin and pull at their hair
I know girls who look so hard for love they give out their heart like it's extra change
I know girls who split their skins to stop the pain
I know girls who are so angry they are hateful, even mean
I know girls throw up in the bathroom after lunch, pretending no one heard them when they come out
I know girls with the universe in their eyes yet they can't see a star
I know girls who give themselves away to feel like someone cares
I know girls who hate their moms
I know girls who hate their dad
And I know girls that would rather die then be caught wearing a dress
I know girls who take too many pills, girls who party a little too hard
I know girls with strait A's since they were 6
I know girls who have panic attacks
There are girls with bones and girls with curves
Girls with hearts as cold as stone
But even with all the types
All the girls
We're all the same
Same love in our hearts
Same soul buried beneath layers of our skin
Truth is
We're all hurt
We all need each other
Girls need girls to get through what girls go through
This is a little rough but it's a poem about all the kinds of girls I've met and observed through my 16 years. Some u was friends with some I hardly knew. The point of this poem is to say every girl needs some body so us girls should be there for each other.

Things I live for:
passionate conversations
about the things I love and care for
that last for hours longer than planned
in coffee shops with exposed brick walls
with coffee stains and muffin crumbles littering the papers
where I am writing the plans for the rest of my life
the things I want for my future, my passions
and how I am going to live those out
mapping out my life on napkins
and old note pads
so I can remind myself
that this my passion and I can
achieve anything I put my mind to
but its always important to have support
so I pour my heart out to my friends and hope
they don't mind listening, because when I am excited
I don't stop talking, and I hope they do the same
with me and we can learn to help each other
achieve our goals
Although I am an introvert an spend plenty of time alone, I never view myself as alone. I think life is meant to be shared with others. And although I enjoy my time in solitude the best memories come from enjoying experiences with others.

Somewhere

I know you're out there
I can hear your voice in the wind that rustles the leafless trees
Like them I'm waiting for Spring
For warmth
Nourishment
To grow again inside love

I'm searching for you
I chase my shadow in the fading colours of the setting sun
Look for your message amongst the stars
Face upturned
Bathed in moonlight
In awe of the universe

I've dreamt of you
Your image obscured by a cloak of imagination
Invading my unconscious with promised ardour
Passionate embraces
Fanciful encounters
That leave me wanting

I'm waiting for you
Pondering your existence, conversing with passers by
Like Vladimir and Estragon under their tree
Listening
Writing the words
To bring you to me

I've yet to find you
But
I know you're out there

Somewhere....*

I have read so many wonderful poems,
haiku's, 10 words, so many more, and none are alike!
But we tend to forget about spoken word poems,
Hello Poetry, can you make it possible to share our spoken words as well as our massive pile on's of endless poetry. Spoken Words would add to the sight, and only make it better.
I wish I could also Use Hellopoetry on my mobile phone, in an app,
I'm not sure about anyone else, but that would maybe add to HP

Please consider what I've had to say, c:
Please send repost like and share and comment anything else you think the sight needs since it's growing in great ways. Please share and like if you agree c:
I'll be like
Every other poet
And compare you
To the stars

Because you shine
So bright and
Very beautifully
Just like them

But you and
I both know
Behind that glow
You're dying inside

The ocean is calling,
calling for me,
he wants me to
get lost in him.
To join the white foam,
to go and say hello.
.
Nothing's here to stop me,
only the cold dry wind
of some cold and silent place
that lures me into the dark,
to some colourless scene,
to some lifeless landscape.
.
I try to run, to call out,
"I'm coming! Wait!"
But all I see is them leaving,
without me, leaving me here
on a wasted island,
by myself.
.
So I stay here,
without anyone,
waiting in the nothingness,
waiting nothing,
only the silence interrupts
all these thoughts in my mind.
.
These void and empty thoughts,
rough, cold and dry,
as the day on this island,
dark, wet and cold,
like all the nights here,
enlightened only by a dim hope.
.
That someday, someone
will come along
to take me back to the world
and end this loneliness,
erasing the memory of my time
alone here on the island of my mind.
This one has an accompanying drawing... its not too good though

this coffee stain is the leftover
of an accident

perhaps
of the moment
i fell in love
with a girl i didn't know

and not
the coffee i spilled
standing up
to tell her i love her
Your parents gave you life, but they're not responsible for the choices you make.
I'm tired of people blaming their parents for crap they did to themselves.
