Hey everyone,

I'd like to propose a challenge.

Grab a book, any book, and open to page 49.
6th line.
5th word.
Make a poem, and use that word as its title.
Be sure to make sense, and relate the topic to title!

Tag your poems as bookpoemchallenge so I can check them out. I'll be sure to like, comment, add to collection, share the poems which I enjoyed reading.
Best of luck.
Please like and share this so it will trend and more and more people join on this lovely challenge!

Smile do not frown
Smile because I am here
Always by your side
Even if it gets cold in the night
I'll hold you close
Because we both know
It's in my arms where you belong
And maybe now
It gets hard
But it'll be alright
From beginning
To end I'll try
To ease the pain
That's throbbing inside

365 days of laughter
365 days of sorrow
365 days of friendship
365 days of love
365 days of you
2014 was all about you

How you made me who I am today
And I thank the stars tonight
Because there's nothing else I can say
You make me shine bright
Bright as the sun at midday

How you made me your angel
Guarding you every step of the way
Kept the secrets you'd never tell
Kept your cool during hot summers in may
And who caught you whenever you faltered and fell

How you made me a flower
In our own little flower bed
With you as my gardener
I have no fear or dread
I only hope the grass is always greener
So that this love may not go dead

A teardrop kisses my cheek
As i write my pain in this sheet
Pain no one can see or hear
Inside my heart in cannot disappear

I try
I try to smile
Let the world know
I'm not hurting inside

So i smile
Letting them know
I'll be alright

I’ve hunted in packs with numbers odd
They paired themselves while I just nod

My track is a trail without traces behind
My target ‘s a prey deemed unworthy to find

It’s all the same across the multitude
I can’t escape this solitude

If I could choose, should I rewind?
Or wait for our fate to intertwine

I hunt in a pack with numbers odd
No one could pair, none would add

Until you came and say in kind
I’ll stay with you if you don’t mind
This one was made by someone very dear to me. He wrote it for me.

Here I am loving you
Loving every imperfect aspect of you
Your eyes may not be the brightest
Your smile may not be the sweetest
Your hair may not be the darkest
But that is what makes them perfect
I found love within the depths of your imperfections
And one by one I have seen the beauty in them
That's how I love you
To love you at your most broken state
To appreciate you when no one else does
And to desire you despite all the brokenness and cracked parts
Wabi sabi is the japanese term for appreciating the old and the broken, a term for finding beauty in the most imperfect things
