If I were there I would caress your heart
with the thread of a silken cocoon
Stitched now as one on the eve of the weary,
bound by the light of the moon
Careful to touch oh so soft as a feather,
gentle as spider web tears
Keeping you close on the edge of the tomorrow,
shielding your soul from the fears

Dew drop beliefs on the lawn they are waiting,
prisms of lighthearted scenes
Dandelion clouds offer sweet pea protection,
dragonflies float in between
Watching as breezes of painted day whispers
on kite strings of warm summer fire
Sing with the echoes, repeating their sonnet,
offering all you desire

Though all I have is a poet’s conviction,
spilled now in ink penned to share
Hoping on dreams you will rest in the sunrise,
find a few moments to spare
Taking the hand of this forgotten hero,
trusting in him ever true
Open your eyes for a new day is dawning,
written with love just for you

It Hurts
It hurts knowing
it will never be the same
having to see you
with someone else
acting like it doesn't cause me pain
seeing you laughing
having a good time
while i wonder
why i can't call you mine
while my eyes are filled with tears
and i can only see blurry
i take a deep breath
and tell myself not to worry
because deep down i know what's true
i am still deeply in love with you

woke up and gazed at him
he lays there quite
I greet him good morning
he lays there silent
I lay on his chest, searching for a heart beat
he lays there still
I say a short silent prayer
he lays there motionless
I try to block the thousands hopeless thoughts...

I am hopeless
he is gone...

We both bid our goodbyes
and the idea of permanence shattered
After we believed in time,
Our love didn't quite last forever.

You can find ours
in a shell of collective memories
Like those unreachable stars
whose worth didn't diminish.

It was short-lived
But I believe in memory
That the bond were never broken
And that our love was right.

There will be more great loves.
But there's only one right love,
Like a page or a line of a story,
You'll never ever forget.

I told the moon
                       Couldn't find his light
                                     in his brightest
Nights
So the moon left me a light
                            A light in every story
                       To find his moonlight.
