You
                     either
                   grow or
                 depreciate.

I watched my neighborhood park
undergo a transformation
on a warm autumn morning
that carried the smell of dew and maple
the sun peeked through the trees
reflecting off the yellows reds and oranges
illuminating them
till you could swear they had caught fire
crisp air threw amber leaves skyward
raining down like golden confetti
to be collected for jumping into
by the laughing children
doubt
makes me weak
empty pauses
heavy thoughts
of confused glimpses
jealousy
makes me insane
elusive dramas
icy waves
drag me
far out
insecurity
makes me a stranger
stunned mirrored
a cruel eco
evoking
perennial fallen petals
my soul
isn't me anymore
a white ash shade
spreads on my
winters

It becomes exhausting to come up with some ******* statement to intrigue thee. I'm not the everyday "raconteur" of great stories or jolly experiences. To be honest with each and every individual I meet about the struggles I face would take the courage I don't have. So I avoid the situation all together.

What does it mean to **** at adulting?

The question I despise the most upon meeting relatives or friends of family is...

"So what are your future plans?" i.e. (What are your accomplishments that will delight me? What are your goals? How much money are you making out of this?) I agree in which it's quite a bold matter to address, but the question ***** the life RIGHT out of childhood.

That's when I know I **** at adulting.

I repulse the means to grow up and get my **** together. Some would characterize it as extreme laziness, carelessness or even stupidity. But most times I feel as though if you don't understand the challenges I face, you wouldn't understand my dilemma.

i feel a cold blade slice down my spine.
you are reading an article about politics
i am muttering something about a great revolt,
sitting on the floor with my legs crossed
thinking about the gift i have to give to the world.
you say something about giving up-
but i seem to have forgotten what that means.
you understand the state of our lives
because i have made you see.
a single sharp tear is trickling down your nose
and onto the tablet screen.
fall, fall, fall.
it's all going to fall;
it's all coming this fall.
gather 'round to see the things i see.
gather 'round to see the change we need.
you aren't a robot, not anymore at least. you are more than your 9-5 and  low self-esteem. you are more than a pack a day and 3 McChickens sitting in the way of your dreams. you are more than two eyes glued to a screen. you are more than a sad movie scene. we are stars in the sky, not the stars in fabricated magazines.
you are more than what your government has conditioned you to be.

Follow your dreams
Unless they're weird
Stand up for yourself
But don't start a fight
Be yourself
Unless you're different
Belive in yourself
But authority is always right

I do not know much
Hardly anything at all
But this I know to be true
That the sun will rise in the morning
Under the stars the insects sing
Tears are shed at funerals
And laughter is exchanged on birthdays
I know not much of this world
But everyday I hope to understand
Just a little bit more
Than the last
