It's cold in here
beneath flesh and bone
otherwise ignored.
Wake me when it's warmer.
When the songs are lifted through branches filled with heat.
For now I'll survive.
It's going to be a long winter.
Everything will be alright.
My shadow told me so.

I was looking for ***,
but hoping for more.
You came and broke my hex
and that changed my core.

That simple kiss felt great
a call from above.
What a glorious fate
this fatuous love.
Tell me Tell me
Just how am I to know
If you don't tell me

Hear me Hear me
Won't you run up and save me now
pretty lady

Touch me Touch me
Let me feel your 'lectricity
C'mon Lady

See me See me
See even more, get to know me
Lovely lovely

Want me Want me
Just like I love you
You, my Lady, Pretty Lady

Let me Let me
Give you all you need
All my loving, All my loving

Pretty Lady Love
I will fall when this earth
falls
around me like ashen mist.
I'm no pacifist, but these words,
they make me want to build bridges
not burn them.
When the clock strikes the final hour
and the chime sounds
down the bell tower,
I will know the right thing to do
and it will not be to run or cower.

"Hush," you said.
"Do not worry.

All the troubles that you've gone through,
The pain that it has caused you,
Do not worry.

Even if all hope seems lost,
When no one in this world would listen
I am here for you.

Share it with me.
We'll take on life's troubles together. So,
Do not worry."

Those three words,
Were more than enough to give me strength.
As long as they came from you.

None of it was said,
But felt.
There was no voice,
But pure touch.

All this, from a hug: The simplest,
But greatest form of physical contact.

As long as you were there,
To hold my hand,
To hold me close.

So I will not worry.
As long as you're here with me.
*Your presence gives me rest. I want to always be by your side.*

Pleased to meet you all! First time here.
I could stick to you.
I could wrap myself around your tightening waist.
Cling to the tiniest hairs on your
shrinking skin.

Clawing at your attention and your blue eyes
The windows to the soul
So why do I never look in?
My eyes are abysses
Your eyes are pools of independent waters

I want you to stick to me.
I want you to wrap yourself around my growing waist.
And cling to my thickening hair.
But You won't.

And when I get that pushing feeling
in my right toe,
I make you give me the silent treatment.
My abyss fills with tears
and I drown from
Sea to Pond
and
Pond to Sea
There may be a part two to come
Our city lights,
however small in comparison,
nullify the countless Stars
of the wondrous night Sky.

Perhaps
this is analogous to how
things that seem to be
so very close,
so very small,
so very benign,
so very familiar,
so very attainable;
things of our conscious creation;
can preclude even the very awareness
of far greater,
far more beautiful,
far more powerful things;
both external and internal;
both transient and eternal;
and why we must
take great care
and
act with great tact
and
act with immense respect
if
we, as mortals:
curators of reality;
are to be trusted
with such effervescent potency.
I find it very strange
how we are all made
from the same elements
formed out of stardust
shaped bones covered in skin
so how come
some girls are pretty

And I'm not
