I was reading The Dark Below and read a really sweet line about loving someone even with their disfigurement so I wrote this.

and remind you that it’s time to go to work
I want to be that spirit
that lets you know that it’s time to relax

I want to illuminate your soul
I may be under appreciated
eclipsed in the shadows
but I accept that

This night is filled with flowing strands of your hair
The moonlight is washed by the shine in your eyes
Is it the moon or your shine,
Is it the sky or your existence,
Is it the soft movement of the winds or the smell of you
Is the blowing of leaves or your sweet whispers
I know your no way near me
but my heart continues embracing your presence.
Surprisingly it is not the lonely nights that remind me of you
