Remember homecoming night?
We were awkward.
Wouldn't look at eachother.
Laughing in my head.
Wishing we weren't friends.

There’s always
A looming calm
Before a storm
So I waited
In deep fear
And anticipation
For the worst
But the calm
Was so drawn out
That when the storm
Came flying through
Everything was ruined
Faster than I ever
Could’ve imagined

The human mind is truly the scariest thing of all. Because sometimes we don’t control ourselves. Our voices and demons do. And we have no way to be in control.

Some people say I'm hyperactive
But that's not me
Some people say I'm cute
But that's not me
Some people say I'm heartless
But that's not me

I don't know what I want
And I don't know what I am
But I know what I'm not
But that's okay
At least, I think so

I know what I love
And I know what I dislike
I know what I hate
But only sometimes

Life is a mystery
Life is a puzzle
And I want to solve it
But I know this puzzle is never ending
For now, I guess
I'll just focus on the pieces that make those around me happy.

Grab a feather
                                            Open your soul.

Grab some paper
                                         Make it your own.

And a small feather
                                             Shall be a brush,

And a small paper
                                        Your poems' canvas.
