Forgotten Dreams Jun 2014
I
Would
Give you my
Heart but it's already
Been shattered so I'll give you
What's left and we can
Heal together
This is the third (and possibly the final) stanza for the What I would give poem :] Please give me your feedback, I'm not too happy with how this one sounds and it would be much appreciated advice :]

I don't want much...just for you to talk to me again...Is that too much for me to ask?
I wouldn't want others to see the world the way I do.
It was too painful a road to go down.
Brontide Definition: a low muffled sound like distant thunder.

Petal pie
This is the cardiac line.
Your first stop is the
left atrium.
Passengers alight here for warmth and passion.
Please have your tickets ready worn on your sleeve.
We apologise for any delays. This was due to mixed signals.
You are in coach one of four.
Mind the gap between the heart and common sense.
Why?
I don't do that much wrong,
I'm not sassy,
I'm not rude,
I'm not belligerent.
Why do you treat me
Like I am some disease
That you need to control and
Destroy?
Am I not a person too?
Am I not your daughter?
I don't quit,
I keep trying.
But you have quit on me.
Aren't you suppose to be my biggest fan?
My hero?
You can't listen this far.
You can't hear what is a word away.
YOUR thoughts and actions tore
This riff.
YOUR thoughts and actions are
What you say I do.
You will not listen.
Your thoughts are too loud.
You will never understand the
Pain,
Heartbreak,
Fragility,
Worthlessness,
Tragedy,
Destruction,
You have created in my life and then you tell me
That is my future.

I guess I learned all I need to know from you.

Bails B
He lost all he had
in the fall of '09.
His job, his home, his parents.
Now he feared the worst
that he'd lose his children and his wife.
So out of desperation,
he drove down deep into the woods
to end it all.

He turned on the radio
to hear a song for the last time.
He didn't know what he was looking for
or even what he'd find.

Words of hope
flooded his ears
and gave him strength to carry on
and on that night
his family found a miracle.

On the drive to his sister's home,
he got a phone call
telling him that there was work for him.
He  whooped for joy
and gave his wife a big hug when he arrived home.
He was thankful for being alive.
I wrote this poem while listening  to  "I Need A Miracle by Third Day" . Some of the  lines are from the song.
