Patience
Diana Mae Aug 2017
Sometimes, some of us will wait longer
to find our true love
Some days will be colder
no shelter from above

But you shouldn't worry
just like what my imaginary friend said
just let things be
don't try to be ahead

You will see that people can be scared
Of falling and getting hurt
Maybe someday you'll see
the things that you can be

Your song
Diana Mae Jan 2015
It started with a whistle
from the sweet whisper of your lips
Continued by the soft patting
of your fingertips

It heightened in the chorus
a chorus of the angels above
coming down gently
To bring you to me

It slowed in the middle
in a middle of a dreamless sleep
Slowly silencing... Fading
without us waking

It ended, with a smile
A smile behind those cries
It stopped
when the angels took you back

Watch me
Diana Mae Jan 2015
Watch me go away
From your cold fingers
The ones I once craved to be in
In the arms of a stranger

Watch me go away
away from the hard,
the neverending,
heart that is drumming

Watch me go away
From your arms
Of pure desperation
That strangled me

Watch me go away
From the night stars
From songs on the radio
From stories of books you've read

But still I will appear
Everywhere you look
There lies a memory
In your distant dreams

Hear me sing
Of this bitter melody
Watch me end
This neverending tradegy

How can you...
Diana Mae Jan 2015
How can you....

Possibly feel

The way I

Do

Now?

You've never felt

A woman's warmth

Or

Even a

A man's touch

How can you?

Sing songs of love

Watch films

Of

Beauty

And

Hate?

When have you never

Even lived the end?

How can you give

And say

Such hurtful advice

When you don't even feel

The way we do

You are blind

And deaf

To the cause

Of love

But you can't seem

To

Shut up

Shhhh...

You arrogant child

You know nothing

So its better

For you

To

Say nothing

And

Be nothing

Give me
Diana Mae Jan 2015
Give me

The stars (not in the sky)

I want

That perfect twinkle

In your eye

Give me

The sweetest honey

That lays gently

On your soft lips

Give me

The fastest steed

The thoughts that you think

That runs endlessly

Into my mind

Give me

The soft breeze

The kisses

on my cheek and neck

That sweet whisper

That warms my skin

Give me

The burning fire

That lays deep

Within your skin

That scorches me

Every time we meet

Give me this

And I shall give you mine

Everything I am

Everything I could be

Everything I should be

And

Everything I was

Love me

And

I

Shall love

You

Ocean after a storm
Diana Mae Jan 2015
You are a walking storm

You destroy everything

But in this mess I was born

So it was

So it will be

My everlasting destiny

Relax
Diana Mae Aug 2014
Relax, hear me sing
About the little things
Rest, watch me dance
In this circumstance

Sleep, feel my touch
Under this blanket you clutch
Dream, about tommorow
I will share your sorrows

Wake, and see my face
Through all the days
Smile, and hear me laugh
You will never be sad

These things will come in time
I will be yours
And tou will be mine
Our life will never be a bore

Everlasting
Diana Mae Jun 2014
Oh I look up to you my sweet darling
With the same gaze I give the stars above
That twinkle in your eyes when your smiling
You world's my heaven that I fill with love

Your mellifluous and eloquent voice
Sends shivers through my demure exterior
I believe things always happens by choice
That's why I chose to be your carrier

I'll carry all your untoward burdens
And bury them into th summer's soil
Where all of your troubles will be hidden
Live your life like the burning midnight oil

Open your eyes my angelic child
To the dulcet world I have designed

Forget me not
Diana Mae Jun 2014
Forget me not, sweet
For you couldn't , even if you try
I am everywhere
I am everything

Every song that you will hear
You will think of me
Every story you will read
You will remember me

Every step you take
You will wish you were holding my hand
Every sleep you do
You will miss my touch

Forget me not, sweet
You will always remember me

If love...
Diana Mae May 2014
If you hear love speak,
anything, from a shout to a whisper,
would be turned to little letters
each with their own poem

If you feel love touch
it's like you're being electrocuted,
with a thousand soft kisses
carving their mark on you

If you see love smile
it's as if everything was worth it,
every struggle, every cry
was nothing compared to it

If you love
everything turns upside down
black becomes white
anger becomes sadness

To find love
in the rarest times
in the darkest place
shows just how open love can be

Love doesn't schedule
love comes when it is needed
love doesn't have requirements
love only wants you

If you do find love
hold on to it, don't be scared
but don't strangle, be gentle
you do your best and love will do the rest

Remember?
Diana Mae May 2014
Remember the time, when we sat on a bench
and you spoke with such eloquence;
I got scared

Remember that time, when we danced in your basement
and you kept stepping on my feet;
there was no music

Remember the time, when I laid my head on your lap
and you were so tired that day;
you made me cry

Remember the time, when you kept punching the door of your room
I was just outside shouting;
we made love that day

Remember the time, when I threw things at you
I slapped and clawed you;
you said "I love you"

Remember the day, when you said you were tired
I begged you to take me back;
you didn't

Remember all those times, because I never will
I may not deserve you, you may not deserve me
but those memories are worth remembering
