Some of the best words of art
come from the most
bruised and battered
of hearts.
I know it is hard
Or at least I see it in your eyes
When she talks to you
All you can feel is pain
All you can see is her hurting hands
All you can hear is her stupid words

Don't worry, my love...
I'm here now,
I will protect you,
For as long as long can be...

I know it is hard
I see it in the way you talk
When you feel like nothing is alright
All you can think is to run away
All you can touch is your soft sheets
All you can count on is me

But don't worry, my love...
I will always be here
You can count on me forever
For as long as forever can be...

So, my love,
Just carry on...

oh my stars
You will never understand
What it feels like
To lie in bed at night
Not being to think about anything
Apart from the pair of scissors on your desk
Just three metres away.
You will never understand
What it feels like
To be kept alive by one person.
To completely rely on their love
And their very being.
And you will never understand
What it's like to hurt that someone
So much
Because you don't realise you are
Hanging onto the cracks in their foundations.
You are ripping them apart
And you're so self-consumed that
You don't notice them crumbling
Beneath your touch.
You will never know what it's like
To love life with such a passion
That your missed opportunities
Threaten to **** you.
You will never understand
How it is both a blessing a curse
To feel every emotion so deeply.
So purely.
To feel anger pumping through your bloodstream
To feel sadness dragging you to the bottom
To feel joy lifting you of the ground
And excitement bursting through you
Like sunbeams breaking through clouds.
You will never understand
How hard the simplest things are.
How contributing in class makes you sweat.
How him being late sends your heart into anaphylactic shock.
How leaving the house is enough to trigger a panic attack.
You will never understand
The difficulty of loving someone who doesn't notice you.
Because, believe me, no matter how long you live with it,
You will never get used to everyone meaning the world to you,
And you nothing to them.
You will never understand
How challenging it is to exist,
How hard it is to hold on to life.

You will never understand.
And I am so glad you won't.

Is it over yet ?
Because I cant take it no more
Has everyone given up ?
Because I cant keep up no more
Is it just me ?
Or everyone alone together
Fighting the war of loneliness
Only to survive another day
But to hope for a better future
For I must have the strength to see another day
So I ask again
Is it over yet ?
Because I cant wait for it to be over soon
waiting In hope

it feels good -
now that you've erased me

don't come back

I was edgy
On edge
On her bed.
Losing my head,
Feeling dread
Lost instead.
She leaned in
Showed me sin
Passed a note
I smile, nod, grin.
A year to quick
She had me
I slipped.
Got high with the coolies
Rock and rolled
Forgetting me
And my wife's
Late night movie.
Met her back
At her up stairs pad.
Had her then
Still have her now.
And still I'm at her place
I got her hooked
From my jamming
With strings, and my ring
She's my honey bunches honey bee.
This is my reminiscence
For my sugary dream.

When I think of you,
My pen cries tears,
And I'm hoping they will send to you
The words I wish I could say,
The words I should have said.
I guess I have kept these feelings for so long.

cheryl love
It is raining but not as we know it
Raining moon beams and stars
Shooting across the night sky
Colourful rainbows in the dead of night
A jet engine had waxed burners
etching the dark revealing colour
Like a finger nail scratching the board
a painted dark board with wax beneath.
The sky, lined with violet and crimson
lime and yellow, a show for occasions
But it is an event especially for my friend
My life long friend, who is always in my heart.
The message in the sky reads like this.
Happy Anniversary to my friends Liz and John
May your day be filled with colourful confetti.
