Barriers are high and mighty today
Dark envelopes are being posted
Fate is numbered in tally marks that sound like nail scratchings on slate.

The knife sticks into the same spot in my chest
and the wound is never given the chance to heal.
The day is spent slipping further into venomous unrest
where the hooded dark circle is waiting to swallow my sight and break my seals.

My fingers are fraying at the ends and the blood is travelling backwards,
If i could see it, I would say it is blue.
How many rocks could have been ingested
to weigh me down so mightily that i cant move.
The curtains fall down dark and with a dominant purpose
however, Act One never seems to finish.
Gravity drags my lungs down to my feet
where a puddle of my former self has formed.

*Faith has gone and I feel like I am trapped like this forever

Everytime she feeleth a pain coming on
I feeleth it ten times MORE

Hungered for a taste
  of your elixir's essence,
drunken inhalations
   of your poetry
a splendiferous whirl
 of time & space 'tween
darkly scented moons
    and sun's adoration,
blithe starry nights
amidst meditative new
dawn's effervesce,
 spirited of the heart,
gleaned in the soul,
yearnings of another
  chapter's paradise
universal experiences
etched of hourglass sand,
 written upon endlessly
    chimerical verses
wildflower gardens drenched
    of dandelion's plum wine
swooning under a
hypnotic scripted spell,
intoxicating power
of unchained symphonies
dancing amongst skies'
released euphoria
 resonating in a song's
   reprised melodies,
breathlessness of delirium's
  celestial pauses
  in vaporous breezes'
  unfurling undulation,
captivated by rhythmic
  destiny reverberating in
     *****' pleasurable calling
  quenched of sacred
     offering's quell
transcending earthly
   persuasions' rhyme,
let me lick the nectar from
   your  poesy's  insatiable  lips,
sweet mercy's healing
   captured in rapturous
   surrender's reawakening ~

I was missing you again,
Regretting that you are not here.
It's been a year,
But my heart has not healed
From losing you.
I was looking through old pictures
Of you
Of us
And found the one
Where I'm looking up at you
Smiling.
And you're looking at the camera
Smiling.
But when I see your smile
In this photograph,
I now see the tears behind the smile,
The pain you held inside,
How you were breaking at the seams,
And the heartbreak you felt.
I look at this picture
Of you and I
With you so beautiful in black and white.
I wonder how any of us
Could have been so blind
To not see the pain you held inside.

Today I will visit your grave.
I'll kiss your name in concrete.
I'll try to stay strong
Like you would want me to.
Like I wish you had.
But in the end I know
I'll break down
And be there until sunset
Weeping and weeping
Whispering your name
And one hundred times
"I'm sorry"
