The tree dies
but keeps on growing,
The soul dries up
but keeps on crying,
Lovers leave
but we keep on loving.

Our children keep growing,
But we keep on trying.

The mysterious darkness
keeps on descending,
Light will guide our way,
We are gone
but in memories
we live on.

The earth keeps
on spinning
but
we stand so still.

The ash remains
but we keep on
burning.

Everything is lost
but we keep on
finding.

In the place
between dreams
and awakening
everything is remembered
but we keep on forgetting.

The poem is done
but we keep on going,
The poetry is gone
but we keep on writing.

We always say a lot
And not feel satiated
Words leave us
Yet, more within us
Waiting their turn
To convey so much
Much anticipation
But, loses its meaning
Our cognizance
Not articulated adequately
If not words
Let’s try silence
Keeping our ears to the heart
Awaiting an understanding
Without the words
Echoing the profound feelings

Balmy days
bound in Arcadia's summer; lightly whispered
            secrets, drifting beside forgotten pathways
sheltered in the umbra of nooks and hedgerows,
            breathlessly confide

Stolen dreams
awaken sultry mornings where love erupts
from ripened seed to bloom, eliciting
a fondness and a fawning that summer's end
            is fated to consume

Timeless moments
            captured for eternity within ring-
binders of the living trees, Arcadia's
old sentinels take pity on lovers
            lorn of keepsake memories

Summer fades
yet ever in Arcadia, summer shields
the land from autumn gloom and lovers lorn
will ever have a place here, where summer
keeps a vigil on their tomb

If only I had the syllables to confess,
My heart and soul to you.
A thousand words wouldn't be enough,
To expose myself unto you.

Never before had I been beguiled,
By something so extraordinary.
Like a ray of sunshine; bewildered by the light,
Longing to touch it's gentle warmth.

And it was like the world was one dim place,
Filled with pretension and evil,
*Before I met you.

He is from fields, endless prairies
runs with buffalo on the Oklahoma plains
all of nature runs through him
restless as a river, he is winding
weaving, fording the depths of soul
masterful, he spends days exploring the outer lands
his hands must be winter leather worn, and warm
in Spring he gathers flowers for his lady's home
sees her essence in sky blue clouds
wanders the salt creek way back home
or sometimes lost in the wild hills
he may lay all the day, watching shadows fall
the wane of sun that melts into moon
or watching storms in gradient greys
windy skies sway with darkest rain
he is soaking in all that he can hold
all of nature transforms his soul
his words are woven - spun gold
sublime, are his poems
to behold.

Her heart is young
her mind so free,
she runs like the wind
the hair at her back
like wylde fire in the night sky.

There is something mysterious about her.
A great puzzle
an endless maze.

She keeps up a front
she pushes reality to the back.
Her actions do not bend to her heart.
She is as wylde as the stallions
unbroken,
untamed.

For a brief moment she was mine.
I felt her heart beating
and I gazed into those deep blue eyes.

And as suddenly as it came
the moment left me.
She sailed far down the coast
and away from my heart.

I will never gaze into those eyes again
I will never look upon the fire she held inside.

She is unbroken
untamed
her fire will never be quenched.

Her heart
ever blazing on.
heart fire blazing young her wind mysterious endless unbroken untamed

They say to have a writer
Fall in love with you
So you will never die.
But I say
Seize the love of a musician.
Someone to write you
Into colors in the air
And star-****** behind the eyelids
Of any who will listen
To the tale of you that they wrote.

Musicians, like writers,
Bring light through a fog
With their love-speak and poems.
But music-makers
Can create flowers in winter
And warmth without fire.
Their melodies dance
Over the swish of grass blades
And between the tooth-gaps of children
Whose fingers are sticky
With sweet popsicle juice
While an oil-painted scene
Is painted in your mind.

So be cherished my a musician
And hear yourself forever;
Be sung by a hundred different voices,
Danced by fairies and pretty young girls,
Costumed in dissonance,
Etched into souls.
For you can never really die
When you echo forever in the cavern
Of a good song.
Neath the shy January sun
she turns a butterfly
upon the marigold field

Flies now wildly far
amid the yellow and red flower
beyond the bounds of the catcher
in the madness of a child’s dream fulfilled
leaving wind scattered trails of her wings
over the marigold field!
my cover photo.
searching her since.

Did you see the moon fall
as the sun lit up the sky?
Did you feel the rain crawl
upon cotton sheets
and silken thighs?
Did you hear the thunder
and feel the tug of silken thread
that wove around my fingers
surrounding your beautiful head?
Did you hear the sirens call
their song thrown to the sky?
The melody, a throaty growl
ending on a soft but whimpering cry?
Questions that don't need answers
drowning in sweet lullabies
The universe has exploded
Held captive within your eyes

Let me lean against your chest
and listen to your heart
let me cry out all my feelings
and take away the hurt
as I slowly go crazy
come closer to me
and sing something I need to hear....

I want you to sing to me
and say
im your one
and
only
that you'll never let me go
and ask
"How many times can I say I love you?"

Sing me a song
That'll put me to sleep at night
That'll be my comfort
When your not holding me tight
Please,baby, please
Just for tonight
Sing me a song
Sing....me....a song

Let the lyrics
Flow over me
my blanket
When I'm
Shivering
I want your voice to ring in my head
Reminding me you love me
Over and over again

I want you to sing to me
and say
im your one
and
only
that you'll never let me go
and ask
"How many times can I say I love you?"

Sing me a song
That'll be my lullaby
My comfort when you can't hold me tight
Baby, please
Just for tonight
Sing me a song
Sing me a song
Sing....me....a song

Let me lean in your chest
And Listen to your heart
Let me cry on your shoulder
As I fall apart
Sing quietly in my ear
Here's what you'll say
"Baby, I love you forever and always"

Oh,oh,oh

I want you to sing to me
Baby your all I need
You give me strength
You catch me when I fall
Baby sing me a song
That will last for,ev,er
Never forgotten
In my mind
Till the day I die

Sing
Me
A song
Please sing me a song
Just sing me a song
Baby, sing us a song
Was longer, then my internet crashed. I forgot half the lyrics....btw this is a song.More lyrics will be added later.

Stepping into Moonlight
Eyes all a Wonder
Casting My Gaze up
Through Soft Boughs of Pine
Ethereal Brilliance, I do Ponder

Evening Darkness
Cloaks My Presence
I am a Secret to the Heavens
Only Fate knows I am Here
My Intentions Honest,
Transparent...Clear

Senses Heightened
this Sumptuous Night
Steadfast upon My Land
am Free to Roam at will
Toes immersed in Loamy Sand

Such Beauty fills my Senses
This Starry Night
Finding Solace Here
Under Magnificent Endless Twilight

Raising My Arms Up... I Surrender
Immersed into Moon's Night
My Heart all a Wonder
Lifting My Gaze
Through Soft Boughs of Pine
Ethereal Brilliance, I do Ponder

Beyond the trees you see,
I see the monsters

Beyond the trees you see,
I see the darkness

Beyond the trees you see,
I see the birds

Beyond the trees you see,
I hear the music
Exploring musical concepts
in the key of C aeolian, with some G mixolydian;
even some G Phrygian sometimes- dominant.
Naturally, there's also some blues scale licks.

Mostly in 4, but some parts are in 7;
others are in 5, while yet more are in 6
(which is arguably just 3, but I venture to argue all rhythms can be more easily conceptualized as combinations of 2s and 3s. Then, one may argue that it's all just 1s, but now it's just getting nit-picky.. think of it however works for you.)
There's even a groove in 27/16!
Who would do such a thing?

Then, it's also a bit of an experiment
when it comes to harmonic rhythm
(the rate at which key/chord/etc. changes happen)

All that **** east Indian music influence!

While I realize how little of that may make sense
unless One is to approach music fairly philosophically,
I implore thee to copy-paste the link below
to hear whatever it is I'm talking about.

Be warned, though: it's measures nearly 15 minutes long.

What can I say?
I tend to get a bit carried away...
