My dreams are home to endless sunsets with you, fingers entwined.
We'd watch the Sun step aside so the moon could see the planetary show.
The wind would roll over our skin as if time was our ocean, infinite.
We'd kiss as if our bodies were made of poetry, like fate wrote this one for us!

But in my waking hours I won't tell you that I LOVE YOU.
Instead I'll grow gardens between lines you run your fingers.
Fields of gold will bloom with every "how did you sleep?"
My whispers will nurture my blossoming love, so you'll never eat lonely.

I will look after you always, like the sun chases the moon.
But I wont rain words of nectar on a deaf heart.
Instead I will grow seeds and yield, my body will nurture as you need.
If you cease to be, I'll spend my last days with the moon, waiting for the sun.

So ends the season
You haven't known god since she left
When you truly lived in the streets
Wondered at the conversations you never heard
And drove past a building everyday
You never once have been inside of
I think the price for these scars is too high
I think the sun sets in a new way each time
I think the skyline I can see from my window
Is only a dream
I think the light's playing tricks on my eyes
Only colors and shapes
But what to believe in
And what is the reason?
You haven't known god since she left
So ends the season

Your silhouette was ignited by
the flash from the headlights.
Here on the road away from
busy streets and dizzy delights.

Indulged by the chill kisses
from the distant wind above us.
We sat here until the frost bit our
lips and time became dangerous.

We watched the world as
people continued to live and die.
Here on the crowded highway,
where strangers passed us by.

Frozen in time we saw them smile
and we also saw them cry.
Wrapped away from the present,
we were trapped, you and I.

You gave your heart to me,
said it was mine for eternity.
I had nothing to give to you
besides blankets of serenity.

You are stuck on my mind 24/7,
like an indelibly tattoo.
I might go mad since it feels
like the only sane thing to do.

Today has been spilling
Dark truths
I didn't think I ever wanted to speak.
And wondering how ****** up I actually am.

Acquainted with the forest,
Dirt between my toes,
Earth exhales a whisper,
I am finally close
Enough to listen.

The dream of love is a sweet ache
Imagining her lovely round face
Safely held in my embrace
Cupped like water in a desert
Such a treasure

To hold her hand
To say I love you
Without expecting her to
Echo my affectionate truth
But feeling my heart elevated
When she smiles back
And says me to

To collapse in
Pleasurable exhaustion
Satisfied with the day’s end
Hugging her
Under the covers
Letting my warmth
Ease from me
To her cold body

To sleep and wake
Seeing her soft face
Knowing we
Will do it all again

To these words,
I whisk my pen.
Lay my fortune,
and my silence.

To these words,
I give an oath.
Give my sword,
offer my soul.

To these words,
I live day by day.
As they renew,
restore and guide.

To these words,
The blood flows,
a-coursing my veins.
As I leap in hounds.

To these words,
whose tone capture.
Then possess,
in raptures.

To these words,
my lifetime.
My passion,
and obsession.

To these words,
that entwine.
A link to my spirit,
my lifetime trinity.
