i want to remember
everything.

i fall back
and time holds me,
i see the beginning of the world,
the earth anew,
all peoples collide
and are one,
i am you
and you are me,
we are the same
yet so unique.

but i am awaken to
reality.
i wrote this because of what is happening right now in america and the blm movement

I want to be captivating
I want to be bright
I want to make you laugh
I want to bring tears to your eyes
I want to have something to offer

That doesn’t fade with time

sometimes I forget we come from similar pain
that we both died a bit one day in April
I forget that my wounds are your wounds
it's the love only a mother could have
one that breaks hearts in unison
poetry challenge: write a 5 line poem to the last person you texted. sometimes i forget my mom understands me so well

You
always said to me

Starlight
never seemed so bright

Rain
never felt so nice

You
never seemed dangerous

Black holes
never seemed so dark

Poison
never tasted so good

You
lied to me
Ash

Wrapped in a warm blanket
With my wife / fellow prisoner
Where we share a brush with life
As the outside cacophony of
The paper boy
Throwing the morning edition
Of the wreckage
From the day before
Smites the window
