Someone save me from
Falling into the rhythm
Because surely
I will lose myself in it
Let me drown into every note

I gave you a warm meal
   You called me nice
I gave you a roof for the night
   You called me kind
I gave you a bed and a fleece blanket
   You called me compassionate
I gave you a set of clean clothes
   You called me thoughtful
I gave you money for necessities
   You called me generous

You said thank you
I called you a saint
Those real gifts in life.

A Whitney
Paint me a painting
to vex Van Gogh,
My fondness then shall grow.

Sing me a song
to smite Streisand,
My love for you will be so grand.

Compose me a masterpiece
to blow away Bach,
Then my heart you will unlock.

Write me a sonnet
to shame Shakespeare,
Tell me now, am I asking too much dear?
just a single rose would capture my heart

And then it came crashi ng d o w   n
This isn't about anyone in particular. I'm procrastinating on Algebra homework.

I need a poem
Writer's block is killing me
Woah I found a grape
Please comment with ideas for a poem. The more random or obscure, the better.

There I was, in the silence of the night
The sea's symphonies
With the cosmos above
And the stars twinkling
I felt them call out to me
But here, the Earth pulled me down
