A clock ticks time by tirelessly
Gears winding like twines of string
With quaint clicking quickly quieting
Until finally time stands still

Broken glass of a smooth clock face
Gears halting in deformity
Glistening shards like the sands of time
Ceasing in their downward flight

A once beating ticking heart of life
Now is lost within a sleepless night
Once a momentum to continued light
Now falls to the ringing silence's might

Time broken into shattered deaths
Until there is simply nothing left
Maybe you've guessed; my nightstand clock broke. It's not like it was an antique that belonged to my great grandmother or anything. Oh wait....

if ever you wonder
if ever your heart should grow curious
for lust and love and spirit
electricity that splits the spine
a jolt of lightening
rushing through wide open veins
baby hairs standing on end
on the nape of your neck
a wave of cold sweat
dripping through your hair
moistens your back
if ever a moment passes
if ever you refrain from yelling loud
sing a melody
scream “i love you”
skip through a crowd of people
and smile
laugh
dance
and forget your worry
the temporary madness of yesterday
because you are static, ecstatic
you are wonderful

she awoke
like an aubade-
a song greeting the dawn.
her eyes blinked the morning dew away;
the sleep dissipating like fog rolling over hills and out of sight.
her body was full of stories,
of dreams-
she sang wordless lullabies in
amaranth and ivory.
it hurt her, i think,
to craft worlds from impetuous grins and
the lazy dip of cherry blossoms in spring.
her veins hurt from the
strain of harsh lights and panic attacks in public bathrooms,
her veins hurt from the monotony of school
and the dull, numb throbbing of a
barely there headache.
She would come home,
after a particularly long day
and stare at herself,
not recognizing who stared back.
sea foam on her lips and
glitter shimmering upon her cheeks,
she broke the world apart with her bare hands
and climbed inside.
a grave disturbance
dwelt within his mind
relentless was the mumble-
jumble of killing kind

peers were targeted
students at a high school
the omnipresence of a
rifle's terrifying sool

alarming mental issues
not being swiftly addressed
the corridors of his thoughts
so psychologically obsessed

young victims slain
a sad and sorry event
to-day Florida was bequeathed
his dysfunctional bent

Skin

Rose
Her skin against mine is the closest to heaven I’ll ever get.
Her soft ocean blue eyes gazing into my boring brown ones
That is the only time I feel safe.
When her long fingers comb through my hair,
I am at peace.
When her breath mingles with mine,
I feel happy.
And when her lips meet mine,
When we mold against each other,
When my fingers lace through her hair while her arms hold me close,
I know…
This is the closest to heaven that I’ll ever get.

Moving on.

So I keep moving forward,
with giant strides,
but I have one hand holding the past.
I try to stretch,
to cover all the places my heart wants to be,
my hands like claws,
scratching the lands my feet left behind.
Exactly how I feel, my new job is in a different town from my hometown and the city that became my home for the past seven years while I studied. Although its close from both I still get worried about seeing everyone I´m leaving behind.

All things fade
Rain washes away the deeds done
Somewhere on the earth, in the trees
On a winding path, where the fireflies
Like failing Christmas lights flicker.

fairy lights
women rights
skinny tights
we ended up with
lovers' fights

plain as day
you took away
a sunshine ray
left me with
no words to say

feelings fade
a girl's parade
to hold her head high
and hide the mess you made

While I walk the woods you will walk the edge. Yes, we are both there but you seem more You, even though you will be nothing soon and won't even look like yourself anymore. At this moment you are the most beautiful thing in this world. You and everything around you acknowledges your existence.

You are alive.

This means nothing to the ones that haven't been introduced to this world yet. And neither does it mean to those that already left. But to you. Who will feel it. Who will see it. Who will know it for a moment at least.

You are alive.

Some will cry.
Some will laugh.
Some will forget.
Some will die.

While i walk the woods you will be there. Stuck inside an image forever burnt inside this one that is neither dead nor is he alive.

Nice. Dot you are mine. Or maybe not.

Why do you do or why do I?

No matter if or not, you are dot,

Dot, the dot.
