You found me a shell of a girl,
all smiles and laughter.

You found me a gloomy girl,
who mastered her guise.

You found me an ambitious girl,
struggling to lift herself up.

You found me a fearful girl,
who trusted your intentions.

You found me a guarded girl,
who was letting down her walls.

You found me a happy girl,
who was finally feeling wanted.

You found me a mysterious girl,
retracted because your apparent disinterest.

You found me a tragic girl,
saddened by your withdrawal.

You lost me a fantasy girl,
hurt by your abandonment.

You almost had the girl,
you had her so close it hurt,
then you left her in pieces.

How poetic that the way you found her,
was the way you'd leave her.
to many people leave just when they are about to help you.
I guess you really only can rely on yourself.

You seemed appealing on the outside
even on the inside too
but after I while
I saw right through you
and realized you were never worth
the pursue.

I wish I could scream
I'm so frustrated right now
but no sound comes out.

there are some things
I don't want to admit inside
because attached are strings
of stereotypes that people imply

I dwell on a thought
I try and push away
because somehow it's not
quite the right way

I feel alone in this feeling
because I don't know what I feel
It's hard to keep concealing
what might be just a simple feeling

The odds

The odds of existence
of being precisely who you are
are slim

In fact, the odds are almost zero
but here you are
here you exist

so remember the next time
the odds are against you
that you've already beaten
the slimmest odds in the universe
before.

In this universe:
remember what's down is up;
and what's up is down.
I know I have written like 1000 haikus today but can't stop won't stop.
