"As long as I
don't lose you
I am ok"

Those words will forever
be embedded in my brain,
because you still left me
what a shame.

Not everything needs a poem
Sometimes
it’s already

good enough.

I’d give you my heart but another already took it,
I’d give you my love but there isn’t much left,
I’d give you every pretty thing in life if it would make you mine.
But presents were never really your thing, neither mine.

So I’ll give you my future,
I’ll give you my time,
I’ll give you my word that I’ll never leave your side.
I’d give you my life but it would never be enough,
So I’ll give you my poetry , it’s all that they left untouched.

sea
you were just as lost
as the ocean around you
A friend of mine told me
I write when I’m sad
She said it is as if I am in pain
And I said when I write it rains
When I put the pen on paper the clouds get dark
And when I stop
The birds of the sky sings
Coming out to play as the sun is out

I need a pinch of goodness.
A slight nudge
from unfamiliar surfaces
that will help me gaze
through these dying days.

A spring of hope. Energy.
Or inspiration.

My soul is in a rolling stone
at the moment. It ceases to
understand and has been left afloat.

It exists ever so lightly.
Without a gust, without a mere trace.

“so, did you say it?”

“what?”

“you know what.”

“......”

“the butterflies in my stomach; they flutter when i attempt to.”

“so don’t let them turn into moths. they’d only swarm and rattle more cages.”
