I only write when I'm sad
Does that make me mad?
When I wish to be dead
And all these holded tears are shed
I turn to poetry and suddenly life's not as bad
I don't know what I would do without it
An empty mind
Is like an empty book

Perception is our ink
That may fill that book

Pages written in scribbles
Of what our mind registers

None is readable
All is chaos.
My mind is chaos. All the time.

Something has began to chill
As if we were holding still.
Waiting, as we watched who would fall
And pray they weren’t among us all.
Composed 9.2.18.

I couldn’t thing of a name, so I gave it a number.

There are times,
You take the sword
You take the shield
And keep fighting
Within your mind
Not knowing
Whom to hurt
and whom to save!

Let's just throw the sword
And the shield
Conquer from within
Let it hurt
Until, the mind wires
And rewires
To form a new You!
I read somewhere, 99% of the battles are in the mind, which is so true. Hopes are always there to conquer and come out afresh!

In a world where
Its all been done
Every words been spoken
And every songs been sung
Where many see this place
Becoming something bleak
Where every stars been outshined
By what had made them all unique
Me?
I'm finding freedom
From every ism or osity
That I've ever foolishly
Let define me
See?
It truly is a new age for those who
Can think about their thoughts
Without using the thoughts that
Created those thoughts
Grow, children
Beyond everything they ever told you
You could be

I lose myself
in this and that
my eyes not seeing
that or this
I laugh and dance
and fall to my knees
this and that
is all I feel
I should know
that that and this
could never last
as I fail to flee
this and that
that or this
what does it matter
this is it
