So many misinterpreted metaphors
make me cringe
''are you trying to ruin poetry for everyone''
but I hide my damp eyes behind my fringe
because I mustn't argue and my teachers are never wrong
They sing without a meaning or lyric in their song
we are taught to write what they want to hear
not the truth we feel inside our hopes and fears

But i must turn the other cheek
to get my degree I need..when home I ponder, I weep
because it was the school that killed poetry
for many of my peers..
But all is not lost..wipe away those tears
Grab the pen that feels ethical
the paper that doesn't deceive, doesn't lie
and write a poem that you can feel
you'll get out of school alive
(You know who you are who started this haha!)..Don't get me wrong I love teachers in general..I plan on becoming an awesome one someday too :)

Annie
Behind this mask
You can't see
But its still there
Even if you can't believe

This black gown
And a black rose in my hand
This black mask
And a dark place where I stand

Here I call names
But you can't hear
Here I call for help
But you can't be here

Leave me alone with cannabis
In this incredible masquerade
No one ever listens
But I can see your skin colours fade

Everybody here thinks I'm perfect
They can't look inside
Everybody can't apprehend the laughter
Because they want it in concise ~
Its about you and pain.

Annie
Sitting in her bed
Listening to her favorite records
She looked like a fragile angel

But the bedroom walls knew
They knew how much strength there was
Behind that feeble face

And the pillow was almost a witness
To every night when she was alone
Singing songs of death

Look closer
Maybe you'll see something behind those eyes
Maybe you'll see a **griever

Mister rabbit, how do you do ?
Mister rabbit, I took a habit from you
Mister rabbit, I made a friend
Mister rabbit, I left him dead
Mister rabbit, He was always true
Mister rabbit, the news shouldn't leak
Mister rabbit, you must not speak
Mister rabbit, remember I killed who
Mister rabbit, you're my friend too
A habit from Mr. rabbit.
Sometimes I ruin friendships I value.
(Self-sabotage)
Your pains, your sorrows
Don't let it follow
It carries you and pushes you deep
till there is no way apart from sleep
Rise through the wind
March against the shadow and begin
Raise yourself and believe in your beauty
Don't harm yourself for the others are fools
Don't destroy your passion, you are a jewel
Your key Ingrained in you, seek it and stay
your fears and tears wash it away
stamp your strength in your mind
Pack all your love & leave your demons behind
there is a better tomorrow
You are beautiful...youthful, and fruitful
Remember...you are not alone
This poem is for all of you that feel down, depressed, like you feel there is no way out. A message to tell you that there is a force stronger than pain. You can be you, you can be true. No one can tell you otherwise.
O mother!
It is I, I your son.
I never did outrun
the death waiting for me.
Destiny, Martyr to be…

O mother!
I thought of you only
when javelins pierced me.
The memory of your eyes.
Had made me smile in disguise.

O mother!
I lay there helplessly.
My friends could not help me.
But your prayer was enough.
It kept helping me stay tough.

O mother!
The blood kept boiling out.
I let out a low shout.
It was your blood after all,
ran off me like waterfall.

O mother!
With final hiccup I
drowned into darkest sky.
Now I’m sure you’re proud of me.
I know I made you happy.

O mother!
Is this not what you want?
Is it not what you crave?
Your martyr is taking your
Guidance with him to his grave.

O mother!
