Let your true identity be expressly revealed
Isn't it a misplacement of self, living
as someone else?
Don't lose yourself while trying to please
Your first commitment should be to you
before anyone else
Discover who you really are and live it out
So that you don't get to the end of time
to realize that you haven't truly lived.

They throw stones at you because
they can see fruits on you,
Don't let their criticism get to you
Bless them too with your fruits
While you continue to produce.

Only the trees with fruits
Are stones thrown to
Those who criticize you
have found fruits
and productivity in you

Bless them with your fruits
And never cease to produce
Stare at the stone throwers with a grin
You stay fresh and
Be evergreen

What God started for me in the physical
He's finished it already in the spiritual
On the journey, if my legs tremble or
when it seems like I am out of moves
I am confident that God will come through
Because I know His word is forever true
He's called me the head and not the tail
He's the God Almighty who doesn't fail
He's gone ahead of me and left me trails
All the things He's said, I'll bring to pass
That all the glory might be to His Holy Name.

Worry is not fuel, faith is!

Oh, what a wonderful feeling
Wings grown, so thrilling
I'm taking off, no ceiling
All my plans, I'm executing
All the hurdles, I'm dodging
Set goals, I'm achieving
All the businesses, flourishing
The profits are doubling
My dreams, I'm living

Someday,
Everyone will take their last breath
And the flesh will return to dirt
Six feet deep
Family and friends would weep
While some will not care
This is not to get you scared
Just a friendly reminder

You know these urges are negative
But yielding to it
Heals temporarily like medicine

Few hours later, guilt creeping in!

In this spring season
As you cultivate your garden
Ensure to plant seeds of love
As showers of blessings (rain) pour on it
Your love seeds will surely blossom.

Many walked past
And all they saw was mud
He almost did the same
But for a moment, he paused
Looked right into the mud
A rare gemstone he found!

Every heart has gems in them
With each person,
They are found at varying depths and quantities
We all have different level of awareness of their presence
When a heart is showered with love,
The gems in it are multiplied,
Brought closer to the surface
And easily revealed by the person.

I could pick the lock to your heart
But that's not what a gentleman would do
Instead I will show you a love that is true
I'll show you who I am truly, turn my heart and mind into see-through, just for you

Different gifts trigger different emotions in us
If you ask me what I think, I would say...
A gift of cash can possibly be squandered
A gift of flower would wither and die
A gift of art could possibly last a lifetime
Material gifts can be lost, stolen or lose value in our eyes
A gift of feedback or advice could turn a life around
But there is no gift like a heartfelt prayer
It could open the doors to one's heart desires
A heartfelt prayer could deliver blessings:
Spiritual, physical, emotional & even more

The gifts that are buried
within you are seeds
And seeds require
the right environment to thrive
Just as a farmer will tend his seeds
You need to nurture your gifts
in order to reap its fruits
Do not be buried with your gifts
buried within you as seeds
Don't starve others the fruits of your gifts

Seeing a tree without
leaves during winter
Reminds me to let go
of my concerns & worries.
The things that don't look
right, right now
Will soon turn around
it's only a matter of time
Give the tree a few months
And it's all green again.

We release energy

This energy controls our environment
Holding the door for the next person
A simple gentle smile

The thoughts in our head
The words we speak
The look on our face
Constitutes the energy we're giving

Time to pay attention
To what you are giving!

The Lord is my root
His word... my truth
His praises... my flute
His thoughts... my muse
His promises... my contemplation
His joy... my strength
His yard... my refuge
His supply... my source
His hand... my shield
His love... my everything!

Like an Actor in a movie scene
I know I'm on this stage called life
To act a story which was fore written
Way long before I was introduced on the scene

Trials and tribulations
Tests and persecutions
Trying times
Challenging periods
They are all part of the stage settings

They only last for a season
For faith workout reasons
Besides, they say whatever doesn't **** you
Helps build your muscle
Makes you a better person
Even if it doesn't physically appear to

Countless times, life's storms has blown
But my roots are deeply rooted in Him,
Way too firm to be uprooted
As long as the movie director sits on His throne
That's my guarantee that I won't drown in any phase
My total reliance on Him leaves me unfazed

I must admit, a few times I've been broken
But He never fails to come to my rescue
He rearranges my broken pieces like a puzzle
He fixes me so good, it often leaves my jaw dropping
In between my cracks, He makes flowers blossom
Please, isn't He awesome!

But I won't even lie
Sometimes, I still find myself doubting
Like it was just luck or something
But I know that's the flesh in me talking
Where would I have been without His mercies
I've walked on dry land in life's Red Sea

My God has proved Himself in many cases
At my lowest point, He raised me
To Him goes all my praises
Through it all,
I've learnt the race is not to the swiftest
And this movie of my life that
He's producing is definitely the dopest.

It is not about who is against you,
it is about who is for you.
If God is for you,
your opposers will be witnesses
of your victory.

Face your fears.
With those running tears,
Go head-on against that thing
that is causing you stress.
Remember...
You have been blessed
And called to be a success
Fear cannot hinder your progress
If you've been push to the ground,
Pick yourself, dust your shirt
And stand your ground
Stare that thing in the eyes,
Walk past it and
Go get what you deserve
And when you get it,
walk someone else along that path
So that success might multiply.

I don't understand how you sneaked in
I felt I was so busy with work
But you still got in my thought
I didn't notice my work had paused

I promised not to think about you
How can that ever be true
With all the wild moments I had with you
And all the nights we spent under the tree

I didn't know that one day, you will depart
What's a body without a heart
I wish I can go back to the start
Better still, let's give it a fresh start!

You can't **** a man
And say he's gone to a better place
He never said he was done with this place
Even if he did, you're not an immigration officer

His loved ones heart pierced
With your spear
Immersed in their tears
A lake of despair

Hatred is for the weak at heart
Because it's more effortful to love
Telling a lie is like buying a cheap car
Easier to afford
But costly to maintain
Realness is getting overshadowed by fakeness in this world full of phonies
It requires more to shine in a lake of darkness
But good will always win.

Who really knows
We judge from afar
We judge seeing a part

What you called the bad
Are the rough edges to grip
During the mountain climb

The turn down at the interview
Made you an Entrepreneur today
The loss of that loved one
Brought out the best in you
That failed relationship
Brought you your soulmate

Next time when things look bad
Take a deep breadth
Wait for the resulting good!

Grace is my extra boost for this race
It's a race with self,
on the track called destiny
In this stadium of life

He is my Shephard
And I'm His sheep
He supplies all my needs,
Gracefully

That's right,
I graze fully!

With arms wide open
You welcomed me with love
Despite my stains, despite my dirt
You looked with the eyes of grace
and You treated me like I was clean
What peace I felt within while
Held in Your warmly embrace
Enwrapped in Your Holy presence
Far away from the chaos in the world
This is where I'll rather be
A place to call home.

Sometimes, we overlook the daily blessings we receive
'cause we didn't have any major accomplishment
But...
Someone's car broke down today
Someone lost a lot of money today
Someone landed in the hospital today
Someone lost a family member today
Someone landed in jail today
Someone got diagnosed of an ailment today
Someone got more than one of those today
I'm grateful for today!

Gratitude is a door opener
Ungratefulness dims the eyes
Giving thanks brings helping hands
Appreciation paves the way for solutions
A grateful heart is well positioned to
receive even more.
