The ones I try
so desperately to please
Are the same ones
That have disappointed me

Why am I still seeking
Approval and love
In places where
I will never be enough
You were her muse
Every time she picked up her pen
Undoubtedly she knew
Her clumsy heart fell again

I play my favorite song and i grab my pen
I wanna empty my chaotic head

Words frisk around words. Thoughts scream to be heard. Memories weep to be replayed. Dreams stir to be noticed.

So many colors to choose from. So many blues, so many reds. Too much black and too much purple. But my page remains as white as snow.

The contradictions are embedded everywhere. I cannot tell where the storm is headed anymore. What is it that im feeling, and what is it that im forcing myself to feel?

I lean back and i let the lopsided waves of my head wash away all the pretty words i had summoned. And once again, i am left with incomplete sentences and empty words.
I’d rather write than speak
My pen is always responsive
My ink doesn’t judge my mistakes
My paper doesn’t argue
My lines never cross me
My sentences never disappoint
And my words will never leave me

there are so many beautiful pieces of me I can't let you touch

because what if it's my problems

that come spilling out instead?
never see me outside monochrome for my colours burn too bright
to be bored
is to be restless
impatient
can’t-sit-still
a dull sort of pause
counting those
drip

until you lose track
and you listen
to the people –
     the dogs –
       the cars –
outside
wishing you were somewhere else
with someone else
where it wasn’t
     just
       you

Cné

Laying in bed all day
with silky thoughts
in a champagne haze

An empty glass of water
rests barren on the floor
her eyes light up
as he enters
through the door

With every stride
across the room
whispered lyrics
begin to bloom
In an encore
from the night before
in her memories
now begins
a brand new score

Thrums echo
as the rythmn keeps
time inside each beat
slight murmurs crescendo
and a long symphonic
overture erupts

He draws his notes
in the cream of her curves
Dismantling her inhibitions
soothing her nerves

Tongues in a waltz
senerading to thunderous beats
in a rhythm more shattering
than the rolling waves of the Sea

Lights flicker
as his eyes roll
visions  of grandeur
in tow breathless
they gasp for air
not wanting this moment
to soon disappear

Driving urgency tenderly drizzle
ending one where the other begins
melting in the stillness
of tangled bodies and limp limbs

Thank you TSP it’s always a pleasure collaborating with you!
