Her actions were true,
Her motives were few.
But she never stopped,
Cause she always knew.

Someone told her she was beautiful,
Glowing with personality.
But she didn’t feel that way,
Not in her reality.

Her Destiny was clear,
When she entered the room,
It filled her lungs,
It happened so soon.

His eyes still glowed,
Though cloudy and weak.
She could smell his smoke,
Through the magic unseen.

They all called her Destiny,
For the stars in her eyes.
From the time that you see,
Till the day that you die.
Just an attempt to write a poem about a girl... but I lost creativity :P

Flame
You sliced through the seven layers of skin on my chest,
Smoothly,
You cracked my ribs,
Gently.
Blood spurted out,
You absorbed it,
Kindly.

The whole time,
I surrendered to you,
In awe,
And thought to myself,
"How am I not in pain?"

When you finally found my heart,
Raw and bare,
Offering itself to you,
Desperately,
You left,
Masterfully rejecting,
What you so intentionally earned.

At first I was numb,
But now it's worn off,
And I inescapably feel,
Every ounce of pain,
You inflicted,
To open me up.

So here's the question:
Do I leave my heart here,
Or do I sew myself up?

how tragic!

the ones we want to love,
will never know the intense fire burning inside us,
for them,

and the ones we get to love,
are burning for someone else.

a dear, dear swatch watch

this generous timepiece gives me 31 days in every month
ignoring the papal protestations of one gregory gregorian,
who I remember well from Catch 22

these extra days are part of my own personal poetic
calendar and are like overripe fruit, use them or lose them

WHEN I visit you, expect me a day or two
later than scheduled- but then again, I will
overstay my welcome

I love you.
Yes, you;
I love you, reader.
For I love the human race.

I love that we can conquer our fears and defeat our weakness.
We can use our strengths to not just help ourselves,
but each other by being interdependent;
which brings me to my next point:

I love that we can come together when times get hard.
We can rely on each other,
we can work together, even after we have fought
over our different beliefs; speaking of which...

I love that we can have new and different ideas.
We can think independently and become stronger because of it.
From the conservatives to the liberals, and everything in between,
our differences don't matter because our similarities are stronger.

But Lastly, I love that we CAN love.
I love you, reader.
The same way I love my future wife
and my future children,
and I don't even know them!
Nor do I you...

But I still love you <3
Wrote this in a weird mood. Didn't try to polish it, sorry ;P
