May the words from my lips
Be uplifting at best
If not, may my words be few

Let each and every one start
Deep in my heart
When it comes to loving you

For you Lord are more than worthy
Of the praises that I bring
Let my tongue fulfill it's purpose
In bringing glory to your name

So as this day progresses
And opportunities do arise
May my words lift up those with both heart and soul
As I see all through Jesus' eyes

Even so, we can make it against all odds.
An old swearing.

Mortal gods stand by,
amused by Africa's cry.
A continent in despair,
its prayers remain
suspended in the air.

Lord what is happening
People are fighting
Children are frightened.
Mountains are creaking
Enemies are not speaking.
The seas are fed up
ebbing flowing and smashing
Coffees have overfilled cups
and computers are crashing.
The wind has stopped blowing
forever and a single day.
Lawns need forever mowing
and the gardens will pay.
Cities are crammed
Towns are tired.
Motorways are jammed
taxi cabs are hired.
Smiles have been wiped from faces
in the heat of the day.
Expensive advertisements in places
expecting the public to pay.
Bring back the laughter, hope and reason
Bring back the smile, let children play
Let freedom ring true where there is danger
Let the world hold hands once again, let us pray.
Bring back peace bring back hope, please
To every rock mountain and seas.
Let every grain of sand warm up and sparkle again
For what it is worth
This is a prayer for this Earth.
I wish to be a cloud.

I could linger in between.
Present but not fully here.

I'd allow the wind to take me along the endless sky.
Never losing possibilities or places.

I wash my hands of regret and responsibility.
I'll bask in freedom and forgot about pain.

To be visible, yet never close enough to touch.
Always searching for what lies beyond my reach.

At this moment I'd give anything to be a cloud,
To dissolve into the unknown and become so beautiful.

The poet weaves his magic web of words
They dance in the moonlight
Glistening with dewdrops
Like mezmerizing stars
Stalk and pounce is left to lions
The prey will come to him
Lured by sheer beauty
A glimpse of the soul
Hidden secrets locked in boxes
Peeks inside draw her near
The truth is found in years of purging
Unabashed release without inhibitions
Darkness and light
Shadow puppets of reality
Watched, absorbed
And loved more with each passage
Harsh words foment
Pain breeds caring
Love and hope pull her in
Laying bare on the dewy silken words
She waits and he smiles
As he claims his prize

Mommy
Please don't fight
Daddy didn't give you the right

Daddy
Please don't speak
You don't have time to preach

Sister
Please don't cry
I'm right in front of your eyes

Uncle
Please don't fall
You might need to crawl
To the ones we love but don't see it
Trees bent in, sobbing,
weeping as mists have weeped like
summer rains gone sour.

My only life :

Where my god is now

           Nobody can say for sure

                                        |||||

We walk the midnight beach

Alas
                                                       Not everyone is here
••

The burning pregnancy

Looking for love                                     ••

I call upon you to reveal

Some god or some divinity

                              Lo !
The emptiness

The children huddled on the shore

••

We walk the midnight beach

Alas

Not everyone is        Here
I hear its crashes, like a sudden wave
knocks upon the formless shores.
It's resonant echoes prevail the
skies obedient structure.
The power of the lightning's
Roar casts out into open flame
across the weeping sky.

Above comes down the fragile
tears, beating upon the ground.
The weariness of the shivering
winds blows through the doors.
Eliminating structure of all
established natives.
Hope is left soaked in the soils
of the earth's truest form.
