Secret Gathering
Alex Z Feb 2020
A car full of heavy watermelons drives,
on the melting Road under the blazing sun,
It moves with the earth trembling.
Got out of the car, and went home,
He fell directly on the sofa.
At this moment, time stops.
Clothes stand next to the cabinet,
Wearing heavy shadows.
A teacup sits on the table,
Shaking the reflection on the lid.
The lamp stuck his head on the wall,
Squinting his sleepy eyes.
They all listened in silence
Waiting for A ticking sound
from the master's wrist.

Front Jett
Alex Z Feb 2020
Two tall, spotlessly white pillars stand in front of me,
looking through, blue sky and white clouds come into view.
Sitting on a wooden bench with faded paint,
Thinking, dazing, confusing.
Looking up, the dazzling sunshine leap to my eyes,
Reflecting the flag waving in the middle.
A few sparrows fly across the sky,
Several squirrels ran across the lawn.
Taking a deep breath,
I can taste the cold breeze.
Suddenly the calm was broken by the rumble,
Looking down, turned out to be a car passing by.
These remind me of something,
That spring is far away,
Deep and unforgettable.
Memories will not fade,
Stories don't get old.

Who stole the money?
Alex Z Jan 2020
It's just a red ticket with a stamp on it.
People are willing to work for it all their life,
Like merciless machines doing their job.
Only for glories upon the top of the ivory tower.

Flesh and blood can be easily knocked down
The red ticket can make the so-called friendship
cheap enough to be sold out as household items.
How strong is the pledge of brotherhood?

You lied to yourself only love is the best,
Until she says "you can't give me happiness".
You realize that there are too few chips in your hand
and when you woke up to see how ridiculous the world is.

Nightscape
Alex Z Jan 2020
A cat jumps around in the moonlight,
Scared a little sparrow.
A peony flower opens,
her white dress blushed.
A swarm of bees came and went,
Flowers were being embroidered.
A frog is playing the music,
A white lily danced with joy.
A princess on the lake smiled,
Lotus around like knights.
Gently lying in the arms of the water,
Splash! a group of goldfish jumped out.
It's a beautiful paradise.
The moon drew a priceless picture.

Worst Enemy
Alex Z Jan 2020
Surrounded by colorful flowers,
They are weeping and withering,
Without sorrow, without prayer,
But only the quiet wind blowing.

I wake up from the darkness,
couldn't see, couldn't move.
But can feel the phantom pain,
twining around my neck.

Though I don't know what it is
but feel its slender and cold body.
It is hissing, crawling and tightening.
All this makes me more conscious.

At the moment, I knew I was defeated.
I lost miserably against it,
but I know I will not lose myself,
Will not let the soul fall deeply.
Painting inspired poem.

Between you and me
Alex Z Jan 2020
My dream sets out alone on thy ocean
as I am wandering in the promised flaw.
Let myself drown in bursting emotion.
Blessed with salt, shall hold her paw.

When my body shivers from the bay’s cold,
she appeared in front of me like a fay.
Towards the ancient line, love longs to be told
of our affection the tidal would say.

Though my song is often a tune with sorrow,
My sadness disappears because of you.
From sorrowing sky, salty rains like arrow,
Just like when leaving each other, emotion brew.

sesame candy! wait for me, to thee I feel!
You will let your heart be born of steel!

One day, I died
Alex Z Jan 2020
One day,
I'm dead,
Those who hate me,
rise and dance in a happy mood,
Those who love me,
Cries and tears like morning dew.
The second day,
My body was buried deep in the ground,
Those who hate me,
Looking at my grave,
With a smile on their face,
Those who love me,
dare not to look back at my place
feeling something was misplaced
One year later,
My bones have rotted,
My grave was clotted,
Those who hate me,
Occasionally mention me after tea,
Aimlessly ascension like a flying bee.
Those who love me,
In the dead of night,
Silent tears to whom may cry?

Fear
Alex Z Jan 2020
I fear.
The day when imagination is suddenly blocked
The day when inspiration was numb
I fear.
The day when souls dried up with tears
The day when courage chooses to hide from the world
I fear.
The day when senses vanished
The day when life is exhausted and the body is destroyed
I fear.
The day when faith is shaken by the time
The day when the truth was revealed as a lie
I fear.
The day when memory and ambition faded
The day when I rot in a wheelchair
I fear.
The day when I don't recognize anyone
The day when everyone doesn't recall me anymore
I fear.
The day when all these worries come true
I know
We'll always have a sense of fear
We'll always have infinite worries
Maybe it's a nightmare that will never wake up
But let us run forward without any scruples
and one day we will be in the lights.
