Everglade, Everglade,
Positivity won't prosper as long as the negative comes first,
Put your lives on the line for some cheddar to know in the end that it will hurt,
People place many scars all on their back after learning what their friends just went through,
Nobody knows your true feelings but you,  ***** you aint see through,
You'll be you foreverglade,
Refrigerated your heart for giving reason,
Cry about the same **** everyday and every season,
Let the little things you love just fly you away to a place where the demons can't
Catch or call on your name,
You shouldn't give up on the faith for no reason, Everglade,
Let me put it in words you understand,
I'm not in a competition with no man,
The overly passive aggressive teams fails,
And just all hail to the righteous man,
The men that fight for families and knows to take a stand,
Not a bully that hangs you up from by your pants,
Lifes too complicated,  I just can not brand,
Everglade, Everglade.

Sienna water falling down mountain peaks of gold
The crescent moon and the sun I am told
Have moments in the sky where they like to scold
The stars for being so far away and so old

When the unicorn meets a mind that is logical
The trees whisper in their ears until their eyes become mystical
These legends will expand by being whimsical
Translated into words not fit for the analytical
I can't express just how much I love the mythical

Through forests painted in endless emerald shades
I run swiftly in barefeet as the grass cascades
Down into a rolling meadow where there is an everglade
I stop and stare, completely amazed how this resonates
This is where I was meant to be, this is how I was made
1.) You have the most loving heart. Your warmth, your gentle touch that you personify without words. Melts the supports of my heart

2.) Eyes of deep blue, that ensnare me and leave me thoughtless. How they change into everglade greens, and mystical greys. They're beautiful

3.) Few laughs may be as pure as your quiet giggle. The mere sound gives me goosebumps and a funny feeling in my stomach. You're so freakin' adorable

4.)The curves of a semi-circle aren't nearly as perfect as yours. You've worked alot for the perfect body. I simply need to ask... How can you make something that's something that is already perfect better?

5.) Spontaneous, unexpected and surprising. You keep me on my feet, keep me entertained and make me enjoy every second with you. Who knows what I am to expect?!

6.) Once upon a time, there lived to fluffy bunnies, they decided to leave their little hole and go out on an adventure. A wolf came along and bit of the rabbits head and it bled to death Its so dark, and it leaves you wondering what to think. I love your dark side. It both terrifies and intrigues me

7.) You're so intellectual. I love some of the things you say and more importantly write! You have an amazing capacity for knowledge and wisdom and you use it well. It baffles me, some of the connections you make in your essays and assignments

8.) My love you illustrate a maturity that surpasses your years. Pertaining to your ability to be responsible and reliable if and when - not that I ever am - clearly am not able to be. I think you're the one looking after me. I'm the older one, who just happens to have an 8yr old inside them~

9.) You smell amazing, but no. Seriously, you are in every way, shape or form. The most amazing, star studded, picture perfect, superbly sensational girl. I could ever have met. Yes, let the alliteration flow

10.) Because you're you, and you are *mine
~ I love you in my own selfish way ~
Need I say more?
Rainy day people and frogs
Packed New York streets, mossy bogs
Umbrella or bumbershoot
In quagmire and crowded route
Splashing masses, polliwogs

Precipitation, cascade
The alley or everglade
Plebeians and ***** toads
Wetlands, winding back roads
Holding brolly or sunshade

Mobs, croaker in the wallow
Soggy marsh, bypass below
A sprinkle, pitter-patter
Parasol, doesn't matter
Your bullfrog and average Joe

Hits ^ Misses
In this telling will recount close calls of different ones and some guilt and though most have raised your
Children now the children’s children your admiration doubled the worries real. Our class just had the
class reunion well we did it seems a test run three of us one we hadn’t seen in thirty years met up at
Decatur ******* Barrel close to six hours later we stumbled out we had a lot to talk about. Now for the
Next session like an old mountain men Rendezvous were adding a lot more Monroe, Jefferson, St. and
One pine street rep in fact where the first story happened in lees orchard the emblem between the titles
Is significant now any one can play paint ball but let me show how Jefferson played two Lakers and a
Denton one almost didn’t come out alive we wore the standard neighborhood issue rebel outfits heavy
Coats extra rags for padding and a head band pulled down as low as possible for our only eye protection
And the rule no head shots BB guns fully loaded let the game commence it was a bit terrifying sight
Three scarecrows slowly advancing looking for a target that’s when the real terror when one was marked
The problem I was carrying a toy bow but the arrow was mounted with a hunting tip it was blue and
Looked like a razor blade but thicker but I’m sure you could shave with it sharp gleaming silver along the
Edge for a weak it had been shot into sheds soft trees but over in the orchard it just bounced off of the
Hard apple trees and it looked like the road sign showing a straight but curvy road ahead so with those
Facts and the only fact that made it even try to be a real bow it had a hand grip that thickened it right in
The middle in all the under growth Jerry walked out in the open walking away from me so mathematics
Distance speed his steps mine halted just like the race with the train at a dead run you still was doing a
Whole lot of figuring you don’t learn that in class so I raised the bow when I let it go it was a move in
Archery where you’re just laying it down to get to the target with his dads leather bomber jacket on with
That thick padding and those rags and the arrow just bouncing off the trees by now no problem well he
Took the last step he didn’t know it but that step was across death’s threshold and he made it to
Continued life because I hit him right where I aimed in the back a lot of padding but no body fat instead
Of the arrow innocently hitting his jacket and bouncing off and dropping to the ground there was a
Thunk and a scream of pain and terror it wasn’t cupid in the woods Geri it was stupid I ran up he was getting
The coat off arrow still attached just the tip pierced his skin it didn’t feel like a bug bite believe me as I
Said ever thing factored in and the greatest divine protection it wasn’t a heart shot but if I hadn’t given
Him the last step it would have passed more than half way through destroying vital organs. He was ok but
Retribution was swift and instant I beat it out of there like a rabbit but the no head shot rule was out
Both of them bounced multiple B Bees off the side and back of my head I remember the sounds and
Feelings they gave and my thoughts were blood is thicker than water I told you I know how to run.

Now my turn we were down in Bill’s yard this time we were upgraded we had a thirty pound pull fiber
Glass bow from archery class headed by Mrs. Summers the old country girl teacher remember her
Paddle and she loved to let it sing its favorite song sting ***** sting so any way the pain of those years
Have faded we didn’t know it but we were about to make our own song I’m stuck in you. The stage set
Everyone in place when you shoot a bow in the yard you’re going to come across this problem the arrows
Will slide into the ground right at dirt level and then sew themselves up completely with grass as you
Look down something like looking for night crawlers except its day no flashlight and it doesn’t involve
Worm *** education so the fishing just involves finding the arrow this means is preferably done without
One of the shooters down field with his head down looking for said arrow but what a thrill and your
Friend Bill has done just that shot another one to help find the first one well you look up and he is out in
The street doing a mime act flailing his hands jumping up and down his mouth is moving but nothing is
Coming out I might be a little slow on the up take as they say but I got it death was on the wing I was its
intended victim what could I do if I ran right I could run right into it left was the same possibility dive
On the ground get an arrow right below your head in the neck doing what it does with the ground I
Already heard the devil way those guys **** gators in the Everglade’s by ramming a wire down there
Spine While still alive I didn’t want that experience or the other show where the guy said the worst way
To **** is with a bow not only the arrow head but the shaft creates trauma to the nerves and I couldn’t
jump straight up in the air no one wants to have their legs spread apart at a time like this so I did the
Only thing left I followed Bill’s bird dance routine turned sideways to make less of a target and then
Started bobbing my head up and down as I held it sideways looking for the biggest shaft I would get in
Life the more I looked nothing except bill became more agitated then twenty feet straight out in front of
Me there it was how curious and weird where was the beautiful yellow shaft and the two orange
Feathers with the green guide feather yes I remember everything just like the shoot out in the orchard
When people become intense everything is different those Laker boys normally weren’t that good of
Shots and I was mighty interested in this particular arrow and it didn’t glide the way it looks from the
Shooter it was wobbling and only the front was visible and it was black you don’t have to worry an
Animal will never see anything this wasn’t chicken this time Still life was being played for and I won so
When the arrow got close enough believe me I never took my eye off of it I gave it the disdain of the
matador I just bent from the waist back out of the way and let it stick harmlessly behind me in the
Ground well there is more hits and misses but they are more about guns and cars and I’m at twelve
Hundred and forty one words already so keep an eye on the children it’s a dangerous world.
The story that follows is more than a tale;
It's evidence truly that love can not fail.
As man seeks a mate; a lover divine
he finds that their spirits forever entwine!

It's deep in the autumn in Everglade Park
when Thomas and Sarah embrace in the dark.
Said Thomas to Sarah, 'O, love of my life....'
-in knee-bended reverence-....'will you be my wife? '

Two weeks and a day after then they were wed.
When knelt on the altar together, they said:
'For better, for worse, or whatever may be,
I always will love you for eternity! '

They went to the park in autumn for years,
and there they embraced with passionate tears.
'I love you, my beauty' To her he would say
close to her ear, in a sensual way.

Ten years and a day after they became one
Sarah would die, and leave Thomas alone....
broken and shattered inside by her death,
Thomas was cold as his wintery breath.

Alone in their house for weeks at a time
Thomas was quiet; no rhythm to rhyme.
Never expecting that death could divide
the joy in his heart, nor the solace inside.

Yet, in his despair, not a tear did he shed
for the love of his life: fallen and dead.
But, months would go by, and pressure embark
that Thomas must visit sweet Everglade Park.

He valiantly walks in the crisp autumn air
on the eve of a night that fate would prepare.
Almost at dusk he enters the park
where once he and Sarah had kissed in the dark.

He stands for a moment, and then starts to cry
and lets it all out; his tears can not lie:
held close to his heart, now outward they flow.
Yet, in this collapse, a presence would grow!

At first 'round his ankles, then up to his knees,
a crystal white mist comes in with the breeze.
Now the mist has him completely surrounded,
and what he beholds would leave him astounded....

What enters the park, through the entrance's gate:
A bright silhouette, with purity great.
As closer to Thomas the personage nears
he stares with amazement, and stops with his tears.

In front of him now, as he's never seen,
is the spirit of Sarah, most perfect and clean.
She smiles at him, and he smiles, too.
They stand and just stare for a second or two....

And then they get closer and kiss in the mist,
and she comforts Thomas with what he has missed....
'For better, for worse, or whatever may be,
I always will love you for eternity.'

Each other they hold, for a minute or so
and then, in his arms she whispers, 'I go....
But, when you are cold, and in need of love
come here and cry in this Everglade grove.'

The mist and the spirit dissolve in the air....
Softly said Thomas to the cool autumn air...
'For better, for worse, or whatever may be,
I always will love you for eternity.'

she breathed her name
into the snowy atmosphere,
but it dissolved into
vapor.
so then she whispered
it to the powdered ground,
but it sunk into the ice.
next, she tried to speak it
to the frozen lake,
but it disappeared
into a residue
of crystalline particles.
finally,
she cried it out
to the inky covering of stars,
and it echoed through the hilltops,
reverberated among the highest
everglade branches, and sounded
throughout the candlelit town.
she yelled it again,
to the high soaring birds
and blanket of clouds,
to the rooftop and
telephone wires,
and she found
that she enjoyed the sound
of her name
being repeated
through
the constellations.

Tied your hair with my tongue
into a little knot, a twisty-curly braid
and your pores turn to flecks of
pink sand when I make you blush.

Raising your shirt, I see lace sheets
where the hair on your chest lies:
found an everglade of dark and light
transcribed on your body’s duvet.

The skin you pull over your head
every morning, hiding salt from your
dreams of me hidden in a blanket
and being leisurely ****** to sleep.

Looked like some creature ate
flesh from your shoulder, a bit of you
and dried the blood with their lips
when they were finished ingesting it.

I was on the everglade of pain where the
Grass did release the winds fever upon all
That fell unto the field of draughts sickness.

They bled their moments on each stem,
Thriving on the ecstasy of what descended
On ever inch of immaculate feverish hunger.

Each whipped on every nerve that bleed, and
Covered each morsel of life's disturbance.
All their wishes for a life saved on whim.

But flesh is for the tournament of every
Sin, and with every one that bleeds, another
Moment that fed him that dwells far below.

But in the field of those that sway in perpetual
Agony they release penance on those that grace
The calm exterior till they bleed and fall below.

writhing thorns engraved in bark
the wood creaks as each breath clones dark
ancient thrones of malevolent sprites
thus thrusts in everglade crevasses alike

dew drops, swirls, a complexity
masks nature's generosity
authenticity aching bones lost completely
as flesh groans in lacerated deeds accordingly

quick, hold your breath
as the earth moans in discontent
ivory, savory whimsical delicacies
the thrones topples atop star ridden daisies

sigh, beloved, my beloved king
splinters etched in wooden sheathes
close your eyes, dreadful king
as the children of you forest

grow tall to die
Let you go
Let you go
That's what I'll do
You've let me go
And now I must
Do the same,
That's the game,
Rain into dust
Dreams I cannot sow
Leave it all behind in blue
Let you go
Let you go
I must forget you now
Even if I don't know how,
The fork in our road
Has only time borrowed
That we must fade
Like mud in the Everglade,
The grass will grow over
All our tracks, nothing left to savor,
Gum gone bland
Like dry dry sand,
Let you go
Let you go
My mind may forget
But my heart won't let
The ache get better
I'll never need a dredger...

the anthem of Green
is the one I shall sing
it is endowed with
a prosperous ring

the valleys and fields
covered in a green drape
a hue rich and healthy
in the color of its cape

green foliage
adorning forest trees
green grasses
growing in meadow leas

a perennial jade
ever lasting is its parade
showing in Florida everglade
most attractive is the shade

how one enjoys
the green of the terrain
that speak to one's heart
with a resplendent refrain

Todays golden setting is a facade masking danger that lies in waiting , there must be a Bobcat from a treetop preying , voracious raptors diving in the glare of the Sun , a Water Moccasin ready to strike for no reason
Coyote's strategically blocking all avenues of escape , an alligator moving quietly in the everglade
Tiger mosquitos with innumerable disease , well traveled Deer runs racked with fleas
Wild dogs running the moors , Government agents behind closed doors* ...

If i could be a tree
I would be a Weeping Willow
With deeply sunk roots, giving you strength
Billowing arms, of different length
I would welcome you to sit beneath me
I would be your pillow and your shade
As you find your peace by the stream, in this beautiful everglade

If I could be an Animal
I would be a Lion
Full of Pride
We would make a handsome pair
As we set up home in my lair
I would offer protection from hunters of all kinds
I would be your strength, your Master, your saviour from Mankind

If I could be a bird
I would be an Eagle, a bird of Prey
Master of the skies, of all I survey
I would offer you a seat beneath my wings
Sheltering you from the harmful rays of the Sun
As we glide and soar above the clouds, as one, in unison

If I could just be with you again for one day
I have so much to tell you, so much to say

Miss you **

revisited and slightly revised today
March 14th, 2021.

One deliberate shameful death,
whose demise linkedin
violent cessation of breath
thank heavy gun wielding hand
innocuous **** disguised
as armed neighborhood watch
firearm brandished
as weapon of choice.

Once again rifling thru outdated drafts,
I unwittingly repost grievous bulletin
that made headlines nine plus years ago,
an innocent lad received fatal shot
into said unarmed teenager's chest
according to testimony
courtesy Doctor Vincent Di Maio.

Memory of aforementioned crime
relegated to dustbin of criminal minds
whereby dime a dozen killings
(nowadays barely register shock)
countless young persons
genetically bequeathed with
healthy dose of melanin
gunned down during their prime.

George Zimmerman (then age 28)
ought to be pitched into the
alligator and crocodile infested Everglade
for his senseless killing (outright ******)
of Trayvon Martin slammed
as involved some illicit wick kid trade
(a slender African American
more precisely youth flush with color
only 17 years young -

(birthdate - February 5th, 1995
death date - February 26th, 2012),
whose martyrdom grows
as days/weeks fade
an exemplary gregarious helpmate
swimming against the tide
to make the grade
now slain while just a youth -
the unfounded killing
by a neighborhood watch volunteer,

who felt afraid
that this dark skinned young man
appeared suspicious pulled the trigger
with comeuppance to be paid
though -- no retribution can restore
lifeless body, still
agitated waters nor offer shade
from the justifiable media frenzy
sparked from Geraldo Rivera made

even with unanimous
approval of guillotine blade
for violence cannot only rejuvenate
a promising future
evinced by Trayvon Martin
reincarnated into tree or leaf blade
but only serves to beget subsequent
violence now unto his grave
said teenager laid!
