The beauty
Of your nest
Lies in knowing
What hides within
Is better than the rest

A glimpse through your foliage
Reveals a soft calyx
The petals of which are
The enthroned souls of the faithful
But a trap door nonetheless

When I enter
You will sigh
When I keep at it
You will know why
Angels sing

They say a chicken
Will stay in its cage
When lightning is flashing
And winds start to rage...

Chickens like safety
And stay where it's warm.
But they say eagles

FLY INTO THE STORM.

Happy new year
to all of my friends
I wish you were here
to celebrate the end
the end of a decade
that's already over
so let's ride the parade
don't look over your shoulder
I lost someone dear
and I know you have too
but let's make one thing clear
that all things renew
new relationships
new beginnings
I'm thankful for you all
so let's see what this year brings
whatever may befall.

In the cold, dark
        of January,
         I remembered
              you
        the most.
  As the chill
      snapped bones
              like branches,
     as the afternoons
   bathed themselves
in gray,
     as the birds
and the backs
      shook,
so did my lips
   around your name.
I'm so happy
     January is almost
over now.

if you know the end of your own story
change your way
if there is no direction
wait for sign
from your heart
In the field
The harsh and empty field
Something doesn't leave me
A shadow may be

With the wind
it moves
With the sun
it shines
And in the night
it does'nt die

Inmortal is my soul
My ached soul
That keeps me moving
in the eternal dancing

Late night whispers of endearment
Tossed past our lips onto each other
Slowly being lost.
Slowly being drawn away.
Slowly slipping through my fingers.
Slowly I’m losing you.
Slowly, I whisper your name one last time.
Slowly.
   Slowly.
