Moonride

Ride with me where the stars are
Touch port upon the moon
Stretch out into the Milky Way
And in love please fall very soon

Let’s sprinkle dearest into your eyes
The stars that share our night
As we journey into the darkness
So we may use them as our light

Let’s cast aside our dreams tonight
And give life to the products of our thoughts
Let’s make the time become so right
For these sincere moments we have caught

Let’s feel the love that’s brighter
And much higher than the stars
Let’s ride beams up to the heavens
Up past where the angels are

Let’s ride to where sweet heaven begins
And in love let’s fall very soon
And stretch out into the Milky Way
On our love ride beyond the moon.

A Small Part

I am but a small
part of you, yet
you are such a
large part of me.

I can but serve
you humbly, yet
you keep  and
guide me in all
things.

I have such little
knowledge of you,
yet you know all I
have done and yet
to do.

I am but a small
part of your living
body, but you still
cry if I am lost.

My Love For You

With eagerness of heart
I shall wait on you and
My heart shall embrace
Your love while my lips
Drink joyfully its nectar

And I will eat until full
At your table because
Everything is yours and
Blessed with many spiritual
Delights

Even in the darkness of night
I am wrapped in the radiance
Of your love as its glow fills
My spirit with its beauty and
Truth

When you arrive before me
I shall wipe your feet and
Anoint your head with the
Most precious of oils and
I will bring out a better
Meal than yesterday

And I shall wait on you always
Serving with an eagerness of
Heart full of a most splendid
Love from deep within where its
Well is made full each day

And I will sing praises to your
Name for you are my dearest
Treasure, my precious pearl
Of such great worth, the life
Force whose strength shall bring
Alive in my spirit a peaceful rest

For your mere presence will cover
Me erasing any fear or doubt which
my heart has ever embraced for I
Shall be forever safe within your
Grace and love

You are the greatest blessing in my
Life, a jewel whose beauty will never
Diminish always filling my heart with
A genuine love for you.

So Many Different Ways

I need to see your face each day
To keep my smile alive
I need to hear your gentle voice
To make my heart smile deep inside

For certain things always happen
While you are so close to me
My breath just seems to slip away
And I weaken in my knees

Why would this happen daily
At no particular time or place
Whenever your smile enters my world
Never wanting to be replaced

There is a deep need to see you
As I awaken to begin each day
For only you alone can move my heart

Deeper In Love

As each day in my life passes by
I fall deeper in love with You
As the sun does rise and set
I find it always remains so true

There will never be a day I face
When You are not fully on my mind
For loneliness no longer dwells within
As my soul knows no lonesome times

My eyes shed tears of sweet happiness
Yet, in my heart I shine radiantly
As my smile daily shows it gladness
With words spoken so enchantingly

Of the One whom I love so deeply
With the passing of each new day
As each one brings me a blessing new
My love grows deeper in many ways.

The way you look at me sometimes
Often sweeps my mind away
Only leaving images of your beauty
To help my mind pass the time of day

The look which I see upon your face
Needs not words to let me know
What your look does express so vividly
For only my heart understands it so

This day has learned to decipher
All the precious looks you send my way
No longer leaving me to ponder
Why you wanted me in your life to stay

As I receive the loving gaze you send my way
Which becomes the best part of my day

First Meeting

I always thought nothing could hurt me
Yet your smile kills me softly each day
It tears my heart apart completely
As my thoughts it just sweeps away

It leaves me like a puppy in the window
like the one waiting to be claimed
Hoping that you will turn and notice me
Maybe even wanting to learn my name

For the feeling that overwhelms me
Is one I have learned to know so well
It's an overwhelming passionate emotion
That causes the breath in my chest to fail

For it’s been that way since I first saw you
How these sweeping feelings came over me
And though our lips had never spoken a word
There was born within a strong need to be

I mean a need to feel the tender warmth
That only exists in your embracing arms
Entangled in silent moments of bliss
That leave the walls deep in a heart so warm
