Sometimes in life when you've just had enough
you gotta laugh 'till your ribs are painful but tough.
If somehow you can't laugh at yourself, the place you end up is tragically rough. Try to see some humor, because life is bizarre, and for mental health. How long can you keep holding on? Pride and grudges are poison, move on. Let go. Keep moving on, steady and slow, just let it go. The grudge is a con. Retain the memory for future reference if future judgement calls are needed. But by letting go, you only lose the pain, not the experience heeded.
🤷 eh...
Putting pen to paper, in a feverish attempt to catch the fish swimming around in his head. His keys are never far from the desk by his bed.

NOTICE: Do not pick up hitch hikers. Detention facility in area.

Burnt feet across sun heated rocks. No sandals to be found...his face contorts in pain. Could the past, present, and future all take place at the same time?!! We have been here before. Together we have passed under this bridge before. Lately you've been showing a nasty habit for weird lateral thinking...keep a sharp eye and ear. Don't let panic cause irrational behavior, take things in stride accept your fear. It's really not a bad thing unless it gets out of the fence. Running amuck, making things all tense. Bravery is being afraid, but doing what you need to do anyway... there's going to be fear. You don't need to worry about it. You're not in control. He is. ☝️✝️
Please don't judge the lack of proper structure. No, it's not structured, I'd call it "****-tured"  😆😉 Naw, I  just had some old writing that I was restructuring into something better.... Oi. Yeah, believe me, this actually is better than 'twas. I dunno if this is just thoughts or prose-poetry, or nothing. But it felt groovy to create it. Love to all❤️✌️ Have a good'n!

pouring out paragraphs of poetry
reading until i stop absorbing
my confidence built on words
i worked to make this work
confident, optimistic, and brilliant
pursuing activities for pleasure
demanding a stronger tether
binding, finding my tribe
aligning, trying to vibe
my confident built on words
redefined all my hurt
made my hurt work for me
embrace the shadowy

The average person knows between 20,000 and 30,000 words.
~ and for Senor CG~
<>

infinite then the multiplicity of combinations,
and yet we use so few,
and the comforting ones,
we repeat unconsciously
for they apparently applicable
to the boo/hoo/who in Who Me?

messing about in poetry,
an excuse to betray ourselves
to a greater audience with
hints and provenances,
secret’s subtle
could mean
trouble

I have revealed more than
I could believe ~
not the drabfactoids
but the insights

that flesh my self~sketches,
you could ask me anything,
my answer simple and
insane~same!

if you explicitly explain
there is no fun in that,
but the clues writ large,
answering questions you
didn’t know to ask

plenty to hide, some too
well disguised

but the hints are clear enough,
to make sure you’re
asking the correct ones

so,
sorry apology
Senor Carlo
the doorknob to my spotlight clearly
visible
in the portrait of my preposterous
multi~nefarious words

no great reveal
no screaming squeal
for you to decrypt

still requires an
inning of
excavation digging,
for it’s in the over thousands of
psalms and prayers
and a few layabout
poems
who/hoo,
too*

If I should die before morning,
while you live out dreams in your bed,
if I should die before morning,
while you produce acts in your head,
know in this moment, in sight of that morning,
A dreamer to weave from afar,
I thought of you in that moment this morning,
as death stole me from the place you still are,
and hope, in sky, like clouds throw shapes
shaped like hearts, like glass they break,
I kissed your head and looked again
once more my muse, my love, my friend
those dreams, on draughts, uplift away
on shooting stars a wish they say
I wish, once more, to you three words
they are hearts and lives not just nouns and verbs

it takes courage to step out the door;
to pick your battles,
when there’s nothing left fighting for.

You know what I don't hear
That I heard when I was young;
It'll all be over soon.
Sooner than you think
.
I heard the doctor say that,
And the pacings of
The Presiding Proctor
Raise tensions in the room.
Then someone says, It's good for you.
But I'm not holding the spoon.

This too shall pass,
The same sun will rise,
The rain falls evenly
On both our sides.

I don't believe in six of one
Or half dozen of the other;
Or the other side of the same coin.
Seldom do we get what we deserve.
I have yet to witness the last
Going first or vice versa.
Maybe there are lasers in space
And brain worms,
Black is not white,
White is not black.
Words are friends.
Fear not,
For they are with us always.

I miss the weight of "I love you"
The gentle pull, the soft breakthrough,
A phrase once whispered, raw, sincere,
Now scattered wide, to all who hear

I cast it out, a fragile charm,
A whispered warmth, a healing balm
To strangers, friends, and passing souls,
To mend the gaps, to patch the holes

It’s not a lie, but not the same,
It lacks the spark, the tender flame
Yet still, it blooms in passing hearts,
A love reborn in scattered parts

Perhaps in giving, I will find,
The echoes of a heart aligned
Until that day, I’ll let it flow,
To bloom in places I may not know
