Do whats you.

Don't overthink it.

If it makes the heart pound and the head ache, its not natural.

What's beautiful is natural. Natural as the waves meet the shore.

So when I begin to pound and ache, I stop.
Release and breathe, this isn't meant for me.

And what will be, will be. God has a plan for me.

And I'll just let it come to me.
I can't be it all.
So ill stand tall, and listen for my souls call.

No ocean neath falls
Or sand drops ere out of place
Beneath the cresting
Turning waves inadequate
All is home in tidal place
Originating from the idea that God knows the location of every single grain of sand in the ocean (and beyond). This one speaks to the idea that we are all homeless in mind, but that through trust in him, we can find a home just about anywhere.

Through faith, he makes our location home.

Sunday Seven (or S7) is a series of tanka verses (57577) which I completed one cloudy Sunday afternoon. With topics ranging from the faithfulness of dawn to the depths if the ocean home, I hope you enjoy reading them and can appreciate the height and depth of this variety.

Waves crashing as I finally "sea"
Darkening with the realization
For the first time I am aware
I no longer hold your admiration

Along the way ignored the signs
Showed up over and over
Skies rough at times but I love you
Valentine's Day and I am sober

You may be reading and thinking
Not fair to speak on your behalf
It's your words and actions that taught me
Huge difference between what's said and how you act
Hmm..

And for your love I'd skip through oceans and sing the sea foam lullabies. For they themselves know your love, unforgiving and harsh in its beauty. One of a love that I'd beg for mercy, I wouldnt do it any other way. Your waves engulfing me in love and taking away my breath.
Love had never felt so gentle and so fervent.

Learn from this undread
Come wave or crashing waters down
We all get wet in the sooner or later
Don't fear
Only a few ever drown
Fear is natural, in order to keep you living and breathing. But only certain waves would actually **** you, if you know how to swim.
