high over clear-washed stone, faint whispering,
the moon-bright tide cascades, the wild sea rose
has blossomed, nodding where the salt wave flows,
the wide unconquered brines great murmuring.
storm rock, night air, the white foam glistening
on wandering sand, the night's rich harvest grows
as passive as a flower, the sea-breeze blows
above the glassy ocean's thundering.
our love as free as this the windswept wave,
its rhythmic sigh, here in your arms i seek
a treasury of love, exotic gems,
before the folding tide, the current's slave.
the stronghold falls, the sleeping waters speak
of soft goodbyes and watery diadems.

enchantment waits above the castle towers,
the midnight gleam unholy, she is lost
to darkling clouds and battlements of frost,
and enigmatic night shows all her powers.
bewitched by ages white as lily flowers,
the ivy creeps upon the broken walls,
a kingdom for the prince, high ceilinged halls,
fall, fall to dust and long the starry hours.
great knights in armour, restless for a fight
on thundering horses storm into the night,
with swords unsheathed towards their deathly foe,
and love is lost with nowhere left to go,
the mighty fall, their army silver bright,
beneath a slumbered moon the south winds blow.

awake my love! oh, don't be weary-eyed
and hearken to my lover's serenade,
i'll take you to the dryad's mossy glade,
leave slumber like a mist upon the tide.
i'll whisper secrets in your moonstruck ear,
declare my passion in the midnight hours,
where fairies hide beside the milky flowers
and i'll be tender for i hold you dear.
we'll sit where moonlight glimmers in the trees,
drink honey mead and toast the balmy night
and you will find enchantment and delight,
oh, how i'll love you, how i'll laugh and tease.
the stars will guide us shining in the deep;
awake my love! awaken from your sleep.
i usually post some rhyme around halloween so this week i'm going to have a break from writing and post some of my old sonnets. i hope you all like them :)

She always waits up for you,
your woman
always on,
lit up
like an old-fashioned
Christmas Tree
in a black & white film,
the way the white lights look
even brighter,
she's vintage beautiful.

So
When you turn the corner
of your dead end street
you two live on..
Does she now
how your love
flickers on & off
for her?

i.

I wilt montivagant over her lid's
Whilst I ooze out of mine shoe's;
A bulrush to surround us, breezing
Swaying to freedom's wind.

ii.

We art kin, trapped in another's being
But this trapped feeling is good, carved into wood;
Ourn name's, struck by lightning, hidden by flame's
All's amazing with her comfort, for her I hush.

iii.

Silence is all I needeth, as I stareth to her guise
The sun waketh up, as her vintage reaches mine cup;
She's the core to all upward truth's
She's the reason to be alive.

montivagant means to wander over hills and mountains.. For you who are wondering that word.
I have these two watches that i keep for so long. It both held the same  time, when you and I first met.

That exact minute my eyes witnessed,
that rare of a beauty.

As how one galaxy collided with other galaxy to yield the most exquisite scenery of stars dancing and kissing each other.

                     Slowly...

                     Passionately...

I have kept these for two simple reasons.

First, as a reminder that we are existing in the same lifetime.

Last, so i will not forget that those watches, contain the time of two distant space.

              *
* Just like us.
Draft.
I am just amazed of how we have the very same timezone and yet we lived many miles apart, divided by the sea.
Inhale deeply of the seas

  whilst your days are youthful

   and lips blush with dawn,

surrender your passion

to enchantment 'pon  the

      ***** of wildflowers' bloom,

dance within winds' touched beyond

     fiery kisses of sensuality's desire,

allow your affections to waft midst

heartfelt poetry & lustful love songs,

feel the earth between your toes,

   before sensibility denies passage

and your eyes become a vintage flush

'tween life's unkind shades of blue,

& what was once unveiled amid moonbows

     on hot summers' reminiscent twilights

So at that very moment
That very instance
Time was enclosed
Produced on film
Black and white
From an antique rolleiflex

Obsolete in nature
Yet, oddly charming
And on that very parchment
Time was encapsulated
Stored for reminiscing

This picture is not worth
        a       thousand      words
Only a simple phrase
             that  summed    up
    fractions of a second

Time was frozen
To a terrific photograph
From an antique rolleiflex

i lean against an oak tree in a glade
to watch apollo fall behind the hill,
the sunlight in the west begins to fade,
as evening closes in, a sudden chill.
the nightingale sings songs of yesterday
an arching song that lifts my spirits high,
the robin in the branches drills a lay,
as sunset breathes and reaches to the sky.
the sunlight falls in opal on the ground,
a song of heaven, darkness has no place,
the world is hushed with hardly any sound
and i can sense her passion and her grace
and still the sunlight drifting through the leaves,
holds back the last of day that darkness weaves.

that darkness weaves, that churlish empty sound,
which deafens moments reaching in their gold,
desire or dream, the chains that hold us bound,
the drowning spirit lifts and then is bold.
while nature rests her head upon the land
and bird song fills the avenues of trees,
her vision is ethereal and grand,
a haunting inspiration on the breeze.
i'll echo songs of summer centuries,
that mock and hint their ebony array,
the wind calls out like wild and distant seas
as through the peaceful glade the light of day,
that held its last soft breath of falling light,
in hollow sorrows dreams of quiet night.

the soul finds solace, time enough to rest,
the beauty of the earth is here to see
and where the light still lingers in the west,
i see a glimpse of sweet eternity.
so blindly now the day will sink and fall,
the light that holds the tenderness recedes
and my lost hopes their last enchantment call,
as that last glimpse of daylight leaves the meads.
while questions of the heart flow like a stream,
with tender echoed strings that fall so far,
as cheery revelations clear the dream,
of softly fallen evening's gentle star.
   so with imagination’s dying spark
the day so leaves us here the tranquil dark.

the lapping water drifting to the sand,
the smugglers hurry o'er the silver wave,
a rose-moon blushing where the waters lave
and moonlight glistens on the breezy strand.
the oars are steady, gliding to the land
the stroke of midnight near a watery cave,
their whisp'ring feet run silent as a grave
to its dark reach to hide the contraband.
the waves roll mistily with honeyed breath
the sky, a vault of iron, weeps a tear,
the sweeping waters break and start to veer,
a gold tooth glints, the night as black as death,
a dreadful shout, the watch is drawing near,
how suddenly their faces pall with fear!
