Smile. They are watching.
Silence. They are listening.
Run. They are behind you.
Hide. They are coming.
Deny. They suspect.
Admit. They know.
Give in. They have won.

They won because you smiled,
Because you allowed them to silence you.
Because you ran,
Because you denied,
Because you admitted.
You lost because you gave in.
Give yourself a round of applause, they caught you.

Do not cry, do not lie, do not let the guilt eat you alive;
You are already dead.
At their hand, at your own.
Look at the bodies lying around you,
The ruined souls who too gave in.
You are not alone,
Your weakness is shared,
Part of the fabric of our ****** reality.

Do not blame them, they are not the only culprits.
You chose to be blind, to be deaf, to be something you are not.
You chose the disguise.
Now you cannot shed that cast.
Welcome to your new reality....
The reality of greed and pleasure;
Is it everything you dreamed it would be?
Or are the casualties staining your new life with their blood and broken bodies?

Welcome to Utopia.

I love to sit
In a building
Way up high
And look down at the ground
And see all of the people
The size of ants
And all the cars
Like the toys I once had
Hurry around
Walking, running, driving
Everyone is in a hurry
Somewhere to be
Somewhere to go
Faster, faster
They go
Each one with there one story
Relatively insignificant to everyone else
Only people in your life care
About you and your story
The same way only you care
About people's stories
Who are in your life
Everyone else is just a face
In the way
Walking past you
Driving your bus
Your train
Your taxi
Insignificant
A pawn that gets you where you want to be
So you can ccontinue your life
What if
We cared more
About these people
Probably others would think you are crazy
But maybe you would touch someone's heart
Change their life
Maybe smiling could be a social normalcy
If those ant sized people
Could slow down
For a moment
What would I see
Way up high
If the world became
A friendlier place

She thinks she can change the world
just by hugging it tight,
swaying back and forth,
singing “It’ll be alright.”

For her utopian world,
I’d be willing to fight,
though I don’t believe
it’ll last a night.

In that virtual world of my dreams,
You feel like the solemn reality,
The only dream which came to life,
You are that sweet girl of mine,
In my heart I do not know where,
I don't know when but it's fine,
'Coz I know in the end we'll meet.

If that virtual world of my dreams,
Ever comes to life in full bloom,
Then we'll both enjoy during days,
And during all those nights too,
Which otherwise would go lonely,
I would sure be blessed by you,
Yes you are the Angel who loves me.

let us toast,
my dear,
to making it this far.

even with our tortured minds
and glazed eyes;
hell,
who would've guessed it?

//

it's a good thing you don't wear mascara in public.
then again,
maybe it doesn't really matter.
you only cry when you're alone.

and i'm sure you're more broken than you seem,
though you still manage to get up and
plaster a smile
onto your cold, blank face
each dreary morning.

//

i am not the poster child of happiness,
or wealth,
or intelligence.
(they don't know that, though.)

failure is in my veins,
mistakes written into my skin
with permanent marker --
the same one they use
to write all those A+s.

//

is it really faking
if we believe it, too?

bravo,
bravo,
look how good we've gotten --
believing our own
little
white
lies.

but little white lies
never hurt nobody.

//

right?
uh idk. thoughts?

I catch a glimpse of my / utopia in your scintillating eyes / I sense peace in your touch / and hear salvage in the beating of your heart under my ear / perhaps I am too idealistic about the perhaps of us although / I have nothing but sour memories and / skeletons in my overflowing bedroom closet / I cling to the possibility there is / some decent people out there / I have brought proper weapons to this war / my heart has back up this time / I refuse to be hurt anymore

Oh wonderful God
you are so awesome

my heart is my hearts desire

i recognize you in my thoughts

the concepts i can't live without
so complex i can't come about
the concepts i can't live without

so normal to ever ignore

can't grasp onto my own thoughts
because of my mind that is cursed
can't imagine my own dreams
places that words don't dare to try
the devil likes to tinker inside of my head
confuses me in my own land

I swear you still planned from my imagination
can't imagine what you've planned
You gave me the will to see
unknown places of mystery
tho we are all sinful. God will take every part of us and make it Holy. i have the imagination of a four yearold. and it is hard for me to not think about it. i wrote this a while back. it was probably unfinished but hey. i might as well just post it. because to those who can relate to this deep concept will relate in his/her own way. but i think that this is a beautiful acknowledgement even for how blandly written it is. if you think our imaginations are nothing to God, think again. for He Created what he found good, He created us in His own IMAGE.

somedays it’s nice
just to sit
relax
unwind

free one’s mind
of thoughts which
drag us down.

feet propped up
on an ottoman
eyes closed
music playing

idyllic

rye ‘n’ coke
and a bag of chips

guilty pleasures
lend a helping hand
to bring us
up

a temporary utopia
is what I need
crave
desire

in the absence
of sadness
sorrow
disappointment
I find
peace.

Flash a smile
Or fake a laugh
And move on forward
Because it will all be in the past;
Someday.
Someway.
Somehow.
Before it's too late
And your emotions get the best of you
And your head stops spinning
From all of the thoughts that they fill it with
And the pain you can't hide
Anymore.
Without the evidence on your sleeves
How is anyone supposed to believe
That you're a mess on the inside of your head
And out?
