We so few
Who tread lightly on this earth
Carry with us our heart and mind
Carried away with the cascade of vision and dream

Brought out by the sun
Wanting only the peaceful murmur of a breeze

The few who tread
Uphill, downhill, or just along the way
Bring with you a story
Of love, hurt, hope...

Make a story that sings of life
Live a life that makes a story
On a morning of dew and sunshine I wrote this. Before walking out the door I was told that I walked lightly on this earth.

My eyes were opened
Many clouds
Sunshine will follow

Just wait for it if it’s not there!

There are a lot of metaphors including sunshine.
Some of them are good,

But never good enough.

Dreams don't ever come true,
I've learned that in the past months.

Maybe wishing will do.

I could use a little sunshine now.
I'm sick, and cold, and lone.

That little sunshine used to be you.

I'm ******* lost, and for the first time
I don't actually know what to do.
Ray is a pretty name. It suits you.

The sun shining through the curtains
A line of sunlight on your face
Then I woke up
Ahah I said sike

Her creamy chocolate hair
Flows down into caramel,
And the ends tickle her rosy lips
As she bites them in concentration.
Her Ticonderoga taps anxiously on her cheek,
And the wheels turning in her head;
Almost visible.
Maroon sweater against ivory shoulder,
Caramel hair against a black bra strap.
When she talks, the room melts away
And all that is heard is her accent,
The way she creates music with her phrases.
Her smile radiates sunshine,
And her eyes are a kaleidoscope,
Always changing,
Green and gray and amber specks
Colliding to make a sweet mosaic.
Poetry girl,
The universe can’t wait to hear
Your words.
