A sense of belonging
Unexplainable and haunting
Relaxation, imagination
Magnificent creation

Each note pulls me in
Emotions so extreme
Time freezes,sadness melts away
No words describe it, nothing needed to say

An ambivalent world
Yet lucidly clear
Beauty in harmony
Truly sincere

Invincible yet weak
No darkness, no fear
The sound of music
Therapeutic, Majestic

A constant stare, while its on the table
Not a blink from me, I feel unstable
I hear nothing, no sudden vibration
No flickering, no notification

On the palm of my hand
A sense of you getting closer
My words were not planned
I'm sorry, please say its not over

Feeling numb
Exhausted and stupid
A destroyer of good
A demolisher of cupid

Thought of loosing you is crippling
Can't bear my thoughts, its sickening
End my agony, let me explain
I need to feel you, or will go insane.

What is it to be perfect?
An illusion , a special effect?
Where is perfection?
Non existent, a disconnect

There's no happiness without sadness
There's no sun without the moon
No light without the darkness
No crisis without a honeymoon

At times he drives me crazy
Annoying, somewhat lazy
I think he doesn't hear me
Conflict .....disagreeing

The way he strokes my hair
So tender, so sweet, so bare
The way his lips touch mine
A delicasy, so divine

A balance emotionally needed
At times strong, at times defeated
All this makes me feel whole
He fills the gap, there is no hole
His every single imperfection
Becomes part of my perfection

"Hey I read your poems
I like how your words rhyme
Are you a rapper and a poet in your free time?"
-
I am no rapper and I'm not trying to be one
Honestly from where I stand
I can see how studios are getting crammed
With people who don't really have the talent
All they know is how to get lit (sh*t)
Which lead to a whole new culture (skrt)
-
Don't get me wrong, I want to be part of this new wave
A poet showing these rapper how to really play this game
I speak with the tongue of your fathers
So you better behave
I speak with the tongue of your fathers
They're probably turning in their graves
-
I am a poet, not a rapper
Maybe I should jump on a beat
And show them I can do it better
Cause this is where it all started, at poetry
But now everyone is throwing words around hopelessly

All I want is you to be mine.
Even if it takes years or infinity combined.
All I want

His words tremble
His smile is weak
He folds his arms
His actions are bleak

No eye contact
He drags his feet
I hear his inner voice
I hear him weep

He needs a touch
His not asking for much
A stroke through his hair
Cuddles that are sincere

A lap or a chest
A home, a safe nest
A place of care
Someone to wipe his tear....

I have been struggling
Daily guzzling
Bottles of alcohol
Just to fill up the hole
Left open since you are gone.
Since you are gone

Sometimes our hunger for external validation
Leads us to our extinction.

Mornings so blue
Skies so grey
Plants filled with dew
The day seems in vain

Keep my eyes shut
Go back to sleep
Stuck in a rut
Curl up and hold my feet

World in my head
Only wants to stay in bed
Wake up, the voice said
Why not smile and live instead

A drop of water
Almost empty, just a quarter
A rain drop daily
Light is fading,darkness... maybe
A wave, an unexpected splash
Feeling weak , I just crashed
Rivers flowing, oceans wild
Its all gone, I just died.
