I have spent this long summer hiding within you clutch,
betwixt by your sight, and encouraged by your mind -
I've been hiding in our love-story,
lost in a world where another morning, is another glory -
a real life, fairy tale story.
Whether it rains, or the sun shines
it doesn't matter because I have you by my side -

I forgot about the hourglass on the kitchen table,
smooth sand, silently secretly gliding -
if you watch hard you can see the shift,
shift of the grain, the hour and minute
so when I saw it this morning, hidden under books, papers, ideas and wisdom I could not help but shiver
You handed me coffee thinking me cold,
but come Monday morning, this tale will stale and old -
time in time we run
to away see a
better day
after rain we show the pain
inside of us we watch
the rain past in a way
that we understand
what's understood should
never be told
we sold to are mother
say we love her only cause we don't
want are father to have her
cops are supposed to survive and protect us
but instead the ****** and **** us
it seems like they want to annihilate us
is cause we say **** them or is cause we hate them
it seems like they hate us so much that annihilating us is
there only option
and are option is to fight back
while are armed forces are defending us
we are at war
soon there won't be anything or anyone
to defend
but these are just my thoughts
Focus
on the one thing that has more value to you
more than all the other things you want in life
then just go as hard as you can test the limits
that are set then break them
instead of the sky as the limit
let’s make the limit the heavens
when they say you’re going the wrong way
or you can’t do that cause you won’t make it
look them in their face and say ‘watch me’ as Nas said
the world is yours by that I mean that we have got the world from god
so let’s make the best world focus
on inspiring others to be better than you
show what you did then show them how to do better
let them so you what they know
change their mind from a kid with a dream
to a man with a plan that will change the world
that society will look at as the one and only, the top dog
then they gonna  teach another and reach a ton
focus
on the ones who doesn’t believe that they have anything to live for then change that show why the world needs them
show them what someone has shown you make them achieve all goals the set for there self
plant the seed and watch the flower grow let them see the impossible happen before their eyes to show there is  nothing that you can’t try or accomplish
focus  is when you see or want only one thing
we focus on what we can do to change the world to make it a better place
then you won’t be scared to walk down the block let’s direct our focus on society let’s take it to a better place and time where we can live in peace love and harmony or just see the world through another set of eyes that  are not our own
focus on education it’s a key
how is it a key cause it could show you where the money at
or put you in a higher position in life show what you know
and help change the world for the better
let’s see what the leaders of tomorrow
will focus on so one day
we won’t need to say cash for guns or
stuff like that in a way
we probably miss it when
we finally have peace love and harmony
but until then focus

Welcome to the South,
where we teach
Christ's compassion,
rather than put it into action.
Where we honor the
Red, White, and Blue,
but only want to share it with a few.

Welcome to the South,
Where our values are just as backwards as our deep fried diet,
and our minds are
just as closed as our hearts.

So pull up a chair,
or a double-wide,
Grab a peach
or a pecan pie,
'cause ain't nothin'
gonna change,
till DixieLand dies.

House is hot as hell,
Literally like tamale smell,
How do I prevail,
For my knowledge to even excel,
Alot of people hate me,
But with you I couldn't really tell,
When my shoes get smelly I just put them right outside the door,
The city's moving slow,
Better keep the door close,
Somebody might rob you,
Somebody might take your piece of mind,
Attack you as far as you know,
But you won't,
selling drugs out of the house to pay the bills,
African American people are portrayed as,
But we just want a better life,
It's not our fault,
We were born through it,
Exposed to it,
But we're all not perfect.
I wrote this to show you how hard life is , enjoy it while you can.

I noticed when you stopped loving me.
Your smile became faint,
You no longer held me in your sleep.
Your attention wasn't given to me.
I shook hands with the distance you created between us.
Your phone became more important than the girl lying next to you,
Trying to adore you.
I was she.
You made time for everything but me,
Except for when you wanted to **** me,
You'd call me.
I noticed your changes and I let them be.
You don't love me,
You don't love me,
in my head i repeat.

Lie after lie. It ended so soon.
It was just me, and the boy I never truly knew.
Day after day time wasted thinking about you, you are the boy I never even knew.
Month after month I still think about you, even after everything you put me through.
This should be the end, everyone knew, besides the girl in the corner looking at you.
Now I know you are the boy I never, even knew.

I still love, though my heart is full of pain
I give you my everything, with nothing to gain
You got a hold on me can't seem to let go
Pulling you back everytime you got your foot out the door
Love is patient, love is kind, it does not envy
When you utter the word love I get stuck in a frenzy
Your actions contradict your words of affection
Your silence is loud when I yearn for your attention
My mind is demented my heart is
confused
Should I stay or rather leave, what do I choose?
You got a hold on me can't seem to let go
As I reminisce on what love used to be before.

"Which are You?
Those who go to bed early
Look forward to tomorrow
Those who dread the coming day
Stay up until they can see the sun
Just to make sure they'll make it." -Sara K

To Sarah k which are you?

I'm the one who wishes to sleep early looking forward for the day.
But as the night gets older I start dreading for tomorrow.
At 10 pm is two nyquil with water.
From 11 to 12 is dark liquor.
Hennessy or Remy hoping that'll do the trick
I just want to sleep until God calls me.
1230 hits I'm still wide awake
So I crush and roll and my eyes blood clot
By 1am my body is done but my mind still racing.
I take a percocet feeling if I numb the body just enough I can numb the brain and lay to rest
I don't want to see tomorrow anymore
I don't want the to sun rise.
Is winter time in NY so light has yet to hit the horizon
2,3,4, I toss, I turn
Turmoil in my train of thoughts
As if I was walking through the river of sorrows
At 5 I finally close my eyes
630 finally arrives
My window is perfectly aligned with the sun
While the rays go through my shades
And rest upon my eyes
I awake maybe wishing I would be laid to rest
Chilly morning and my day begins
Xanax for my anxiety and depression
Adderall to keep me focus and awake
Red bull for breakfast and I'm on my way.

I am the one that whish he sleeps but is always wide awake writing with blood as if it was ink.
