It burns like cold fire.
Take me to the empire

Your kiss is my lullaby
this is not a goodby

Your breath smells like mint,
Lips taste like berry tint

I will give up this lifeline
Just take me to the cloudnine
gazing at this man
i notice
behind his eyes
you can see
the way he loves is almost like wind and rain.

it is soft and gentle,
pure and fearless,
passionate but innocent.

as he looks up
gaze meeting mine
i hope
his wind and rain
longs for my earth and fire.

I could never love you,

the way people think I can

I love you in many ways,

complex ways, simple ways, hard ways

but never the way people think I can.

I love you as much as the universe loves her stars,

I love you as much as the rain hitting your bare skin.

but never in the way people think I can.

They think I can only love someone

lightly, softly, friendly, platonically

I love you as Alexander the Great loved Hephaestion.

Secretly, deeply, intensely.
This was originally supposed to be a haiku, now, i think it's a free verse but, to my knowledge i can't remember the correct term.
This poem is about a love that is secret and of the same gender, that is all I will explaok

what i long for are those lips,
to take long, slow, and passionate sips.
to caress your rough, worn face.
as you play around with lace,
both our legs intertwine under the covers,
as you and i mold into one another as lovers

the wise one, said things
that should be done.

a wise one, gave meaning
to my poems i've done.

my wise one, understood the things
i didn't notice i've done.
"your passion controls you and
that makes you a better writer,
your writing obey no rules.
you wrote something,
oblivious that it speaks not one
but different stories. "

you made me a better writer, you did.
