Seems like that's how it is
In your lasso I'm snared

Pilot light to a stove
A slight twist and it strikes
You've invaded my heart
Bursting flame will ignite
But if carelessly handled
It's me who gets burned
Walked all over and trampled
Same dolt who won't learn

I have built up the walls
But we're both trapped inside
The tight space is so small
There's nowhere I can hide

Writer's block, still in shock from all those times you said I couldn't.
But I'll write these rhymes with this mind of mine and do everything you said I wouldn't.

I will become more then my ego
I will be one with being
My being will be its presence
My presence will reflect my awe
Mindless in meditation
Spiritually connected to wisdom
I will shield myself
From unwanted unconscious behaviors  
I will become better then I am today
I will look inside to find
The treasures of space and time.
