Her
To be frank I would do anything for you
I aspire to be the man that you desire
I know there are other fish in the sea
Yet I dont feel like they are for me
I want to hold you and kiss you
To be bare and intimate
Like lovers do
To create a love so strong
It is it's own work of art

How do I tell you in as many words
That I am faithful honest and sincere
When I say that you're the one
My dear I wish you believed me
You look in a mirror and see no value
Yet you speak to me and I am inspired
Like the women of history and mythology
You have the potential to change the world

You are a gem of incalculable worth
Who's been wrongly valued since birth
I wish to show you from my perspective
The raw beauty and allure I am seeing
The way I see so much potential
Exponential growth from you is expected
You see your past and name yourself it
At the same time you walk away from it
It wounds me deeply that this is true to you
For what is there for me to do for you?
You do not believe me
When I speak honestly and true
My words sincere, spoken with pure heart
My mind on my sleeve I bare it to you
This is what I think of you
One of many poems I've written, this one was inspired by a woman I am seeing

Honey never rots
Just like a soul
Never goes bad
But if you add vinager to honey it's no longer good
But once you hurt a soul with unfelt vinager
He will never be the same
The honey won't go back to being sweet
A soul may never go back to honey
Or at least he will never be the same

The red wine on the table sits opened and half poured
And next to that sits a barely touched attempt at a cheese board
The floors start creaking loudly beneath our twirling feet
Perfectly matching the sounds of our quickening heart beat
You’re smile morphs into laughter as we stumble about
I can’t find the adequate words to quite figure you out
But you hold my hands tightly as we glide across the floor
I can say with complete certainty this is what life is meant for

It's your smile,
It gets to me every time.

It speaks to me,
It tells me that you're mine.

It's your smile,
It warms my heart
And brightens my day.

It's your smile,
I'll bask in it always.
If I can get in my way
It's always your smile diane always.

I realize now what I crave.
I don’t wish for presents or parties in my name.
Praise or popularity either.
Perhaps others would get bored of doing nothing
However, I’m just glad that they are there,
Near me, supporting me.
Who are they? My Friends.

Feel it.
Don't barely say those words, hymn to the rhythm of the solemn touch - for you may not have tomorrow but you have today.
Feel the fingers, hold his hand.
Hold and don't let go.
Absorb every little detail that the light touches upon.
Right from that mole on the back of his neck to the way he tilts his head sideways ; to hear you utter the least - to take it all in.
I wouldn't know, I didn't notice.

My heart is heavy.
My soul burdened.
My mind obliterated.
I cant find
no reason nor rhyme.
To just be fine.

I find my life is turning
Around with the tide.
Coming in and out
destitute and without.

Without choice.
Without need.
All I feel is that I bleed.
As a mark of a me.
To just want to be free.

My heart is heavy.
My mind in turmoil.

Just like some rolled up foil.
Discarded on the top
waiting to flop into the bin.

For once I have not found.
Anyone around which is rather profound.
To be here and then not.
I wish this could all be forgot.
Just a little something i was thinking about
