die nacht tickt durch die uhr davon
zu laut tickt sie
und sie verstreicht niemals
obwohl sie rennt und rennt
aber sie kommt nicht an
die nacht ist zu leise, ist zu schnell
und die zeit zu dunkel

(attempt of a translation)
the night ticks away through the clock
too loud it ticks
and it never passes by
although it runs and runs
but it never arrives
the night is too silent, too fast
and time too dark
Waiting on Yahweh is
an effective binding
of our soul to His;
will this Life’s quiz

be clarified within…
our identity in Christ?
We’re human beings, not
human doings; begin

to live without worry.
Haste makes waste; can
we expect real change,
if always in a hurry?

Isa 28:16

the hands of time*
do tick on by
in the process years
passage quickly by

our clock's cogs
speedy of haste
there's not a spare
minute to waste

a youthful soul
racing along
then into old age
comes a final gong

the hands of time
do tick on by
in the process years
passage quickly by

life's every moment
strikes a chime
until they reach
a conclusive prime

days on the rapid
circuit decrease
as momentum's lap
will so cease

the hands of time
do tick on by
in the process years

Salty air and dark night,
The moon illuminates the sea.
The tides clash with the rock,
and 67 ft above, there's me.

Right step, left step, right step, left...
Is there no one to stop me?
I think about the times my heart wept,
and said, "no, I wanna take this flee."

I stand at the edge and fall forward,
For a moment I feel free, I fly.
The air around me felt nice, oh god..
"I take it back, I don't wanna die--"

Flattered heart of the unthought
Flattened cases await departure
A mount of unused garbage
Tragedy in fuelled ignitions

Digging slowly to make sense of the mess
Accumulation of desire in haste
A hoard of heaped cotton and canvas
Looped in discourse of cages

A sleep to mask the heated moment
After a dawn the mountain blurs
Impending progression,dashing hopes
Receding rope, a destined pit
Commercialisation has lead to consumerism.... people buy more and more. Minimalism is the only way forward.
Haven't collaborated for a while but it was a good start up from the break. Thanks Jemoh

The past is such an interesting notion.
Events and moments transpire.
Then seemingly.
Vanish.
Yet we collect them.
Hold them close.
Or far.
Attaching some form of meaning to them.
These memoirs can guide.
Inhibit.
Transfix.
Suffocate.
And any number of other descriptions to wield.
In many ways.
The time after.
Are just duplicates of the latter.
With placed meaning that's "different".
Archived seperately.
So much irrelevant information.
What can our history books truly retain when perspective is so...
Objective.
We are a society hell bent on understanding what was.
Constantly walking past what is.
And lamenting what will be.
Making it truly a wonder.
That any of us.
Are present.
At all.
Everyone is so focused on so many things except right this second..annoyingly so.
