No one to talk too
My mouth is sore from being shut
My brain spinning with thought
I'd talk to the stars,
Even they didn't show up

The desert skies of royal hazey colors
New grounds for me
For others discovered

Through long plight before me
Spirits endlessly struggling

To bask
Alone
Under the hazey royal indigo
Desert skies

Enlightened wolves
Darkness despise

Look up above your head and you will see
A swirl of stars, all shimmering across the sky.
Countless specks of sand on a seemingly endless beach.

Beyond your sight the universe expands
At a frightening rate.
Faster and Faster
Quicker than light.
Thousands of galaxy clusters
Teeming with stars.

So many planets await us.
Many billions they say.
But it would take many thousands of years
To reach the nearest star
By rocket.

Unpack those telescopes I declare.
If we can’t get there
We can stand and stare.

Who knows what’s out there in our Milky Way?
We must keep searching
Come what may.
A Modern topic.

We found the fountainhead of the dark brimming night,
wasn't blue black as one would think, but white,
shimmering bright, flight of the pigeons, unexpected;
waves beating repeatedly against the shores, fluorescent blue poles,
seething in love and lust, bursting bright in overwhelming desire,
limitless yen to break every restraint, to merge and be only one.

put your logic aside and dive in to the phantom depths
where you reach without moving an inch in space,
blue receptacle, the cave concealing  silver sparkles
she and I were yin and yang, on an exploration of the self mountain
in the uniform of beasts, though in an incognito vacation in our forest,
it's all fantasy that creates various hues, black and white too

there were no butterflies with fragile wings under the starlit night,
when we wished the night sky was full of them, flying, alighting on our bodies entwined, in a frenzy; they tickled and caressed with tender wings,
like  dissipated pieces of rainbow, one following the other,
in a rare migratory path, across the horizon, in to the unknown.

the fountainhead of the night, we see it without even eyes,
interplanetary travelers we are, in our crafts, even if they look fragile,
the essence of being is beyond the realm of real,
we had out of body awareness,
both imagination and dream are filled with
                                                                           undulating moon grace.

The tale was told of a place enveloped by insanity
of those who ventured the depths to find ivory
but discovered the zenith of seclusion
and enslaved by the epitome of delusion

It was a tale of the pilgrims from Europe
but pilgrims they were not
for only the materialistic they sought
they were poor of heart

The tale spoke of great wealth
but the strange tropical illness
had only impaired men's health
proving the expedition to be fruitless

The tale spoke of those who tamed the wild*
but those who returned
saw no face of glory
the darkness is most definitely not friendly

Lead me along to the end of the line
Where I’ll take all my woes and leave them behind
Step by step the world draws near
When time resumes so will the fear
Fight, fight, fight
It burns, this raging of the light
These walls have stood strong from the day they were risen
So now begins the cataclysm

It shakes and shakes, right to the hollow in my heart
It break and breaks, the walls begin to part
With silver string I try to tend
Frantic stitching meant to mend
Silver straining to hold the pacts
Struggling to close the growing cracks
But in the end the walls cannot hold
In the end my defenses fold
And in and in the tides invade
The one thing that all have obeyed

The time, the time
It is here
Now there is no stage for fear
The stone does crumble
The earth does rumble
Dodge the rocks as they tumble
For here is the wave as it washes through
Even if you have not a clue
Wave your arms and kick your legs
Swim the currents you must brave

So I swim, I swim for the shore
Sink fingers in the beach, aching and sore
I’ve lost the silence I knew before
Wild and untamed life abound
Terrifying beauty does surround
Ecstasy and agony walk hand in hand
As I roll to my back on this bed of sand
The gilded cage is torn asunder
Bared to the world, this splendid wonder

You led me along to the end of the line
Hiding from the world was my crime
Take a deep breath
Prepare for immensity
Take a big step
Because courage is necessity

we live in cities,

where
memories of us collide

and we never  have to hide

what we left behind

and we never really need to tide

cause our tears dried

and for our love we both plied
